Have been taking 10-day antibiotic treatments for UTIs for years. Lately they haven't been very effective. Tried D-Manose. Worked like a charm! Now taking a tiny dose each day as a preventative. I'm advising all of my friends to give it a try.

This product is very helpful in preventing urinary infections. A positive side effects for me has been regularity of bowel movements . While it is suggested one take a tablespoon in liquid, think it varies for each individual. Recommend taking less but up to a tablespoon with glass of cranberry juice. My doc recommended this product. I wasn't crazy about having to blend it cranberry juice. but it tasted ok once I added sugar. Not good for diet since he wants me to use it daily. I found capsules available online.

In theory, the powdered format of this would be great. Lets user decide on the amount you use over the premade capsules. I have used the premade capsules in the past and think the capsules are easier for me to use. I mix in a teaspoon of this with some tea or water. Seems to work.
