Yes and yes, my nervousness has leveled off a lot, so I use it as needed. These are pretty much the size of most big adult vitamins and I can't say I noticed a taste when taking. They are not coated so I definitely wouldn't consider them easy to swallow. Actually first time I took one I had to take 3 different sips to try and get it down but haven't had much trouble since.

I buy a lot of Now brand products, and initially chose this because I trust their brand. I take a lot of daily supplements and never have trouble swallowing them. However, these tablets almost made me gag. I managed to use up the supply, so didn't waste my money. But then, I was relieved to find Nature's Way sells the same dosage in very easy-to-swallow capsules, so switched to those.

I have taken heaps of supplements for years, and these are the absolute hardest to swallow. The capsules has a rough surface, are kind of powdery and huge. Every time I try to chug them down, I swallow them "wrong way". I have no problem with any other pills, but these... oooouf. the effect is not reviewed here.
