I originally purchased this item with 180 capsules but this hopefully is the same exact thing. Labels say the same thing. After three blood draws all the bad numbers kept going up in 18 months time. I have been taking for years according to my doctor says we need omega 3. Tried others before and indigestion and really didnt help my triglycerides. This is not fishy tasting to me because of lemon added in each. I really know these have helped me. I only take 1 a day. I get the small ones when I find them but otherwise I get regular size capsules.

I have been taking Spring Valley Fish Oil products for some years now. I believe that it does me good. I know that some say there is no proof. There is one study that strongly suggests that the DHA component really helps us old folks with our memory. I believe it does that for me. I intend to keep using it.

I have never tried any other brand of fish oil, as my doctor only just requested that I start taking this. however, it has been great so far and has made me feel better after about 2 weeks of taking it every morning when I wake up. there is a lemon flavor added to take away any fishy taste, but I have never gotten such taste from this product yet. The pill is fairly large, but my throat is swollen from allergies all the time and I can just take it with tart fruit juice or soda and it goes down just fine. The pills also do not stick together which is a problem that I ran into with flaxseed oil (which looks similar) definitely plan on continuing to keep this in my medicine cabinet.

I cannot stand to eat fish! I have tried a variety of fish cooked an assortment of different ways and I just cannot eat it. However, these tablets are a good replacement for the vitamins and minerals that I do not get by eating fish! My ONLY compliant is that they are rather large - about one inch long and bigger then a pencil around! But unlike other fish supplements I have tried in the past there is NO fish taste at all!
