I wanted a vitamin D my son would want to take, and these chewables are just perfect. The delivery was quick, too.

For those of us that are vampires and shun the sun, this is a necessary evil. Seems to be a better alternative to copious amounts of sunscreen. My grown son's MD recommended this dosage for him. I personally prefer the 400IU in addition to a glass or two of milk. I think it is best to eat my vitamins - i.e.- a diet rich in fruits and veggies.

These are small, chewable, taste good, and are the dose recommended by my doctor. I only wish they did not contain Xylitol, as this sweetener nearly killed my dog, cost me $$$$ in emergency vet bills, and is banned in my home whenever possible.
