I can't believe that this bottle of Nutricost Melatonin 5mg is priced at just under $14. There are 240 tablets in the bottle, so there are 240 servings!! I wish all my medications and supplements were as economical!! If you have problems swallowing pills, these will delight you as they are sublingual pills, meaning you let them dissolve under your tongue. So far, everything is positive, right? Well, the pluses continue. This product actually works!! I am able to sleep and awake refreshed, not groggy or hungover. I am just thrilled to have found this product and I very highly recommend it.

I don't use this melatonin often, but when I do it works great. I get a solid 4 hours sleep within 20 minutes of taking this. The best part is I wake up feeling refreshed and not groggy or hung over feeling. Non addictive and non habit forming. Super easy to swallow. I always make sure I only take this when I have a minimum of 5 hours before I need to get up. SO far I have had no issues.

I just popped a couple of this as I'm writing this review. They are chewable, and unlike many melatonin products that are chewable, this one actually tastes good (like berries). They are 5mg each, but I typically take 2 since I have a really tough time falling asleep. This helps me getting a good nights rest without waking up groggy. I take 30 minutes before bedtime and it gets me through till the morning time. Price is good and you get a good supply. Would definitely recommend!

5 mg is the dose we usually get at the store but I've been researching and hear that it's actually kind of a lot to take if you are someone who takes it nightly long term, so this review is coming from someone who split the pill in half and took it as a half dose, 2.5 mg and it worked fantastic! It was easy to split, it dissolves quickly and tastes great and I was able to fall asleep easily. I slept mostly throughout the night besides the regular midnight potty break. Great pill, great price for the amount of pills and even better now because I'll be splitting them so it's double the amount of pills!

I usually take 3 mg, but I thought I would try 5 mg. because it does not have the sugar that melatonin gummies have. The artificial sugars used are sucrose and sorbitol. I will have to quit taking it if I have stomach problems. The price is very good. I may reserve taking them for when I know I will have problems staying asleep. Would like it if they made a 3 mg. version.

My preferred method of delivery is sublingual aka self-dissolve, so that is what I like about these. Unfortunately, I am in a period of insomnia and I was hoping these would help. Under normal circumstances, these probably would work. I just think I am beyond OTC medicine.

That is a fairly decent amount for the cost. The taste is nothing fancy, and it's not gross. It kind of tastes like... nothing. It has a faint and vaguely fruity flavor. The directions say to dissolve the tablet on your tongue, but it is not difficult to chew at all. It still took me a little while to fall asleep, even after I chewed up 2 tablets, so you'll probably want to take it about 30-60 minutes before bedtime.
