This may not be the cheapest of the calcium citrate powders, but it's still pretty cheap. What I like most is it's a very fine powder that appears to be formed into tiny chunks to keep it from being messy, but the chunks instantly dissolve. It's not the sandy, granulated "powder" you usually find with calcium citrate, and I believe that being a finer powder that dissolves much easier, it's likely to be more absorbable. So it's a little more costly than the fock-bottom ones, but I think it's worth it. Plus you get the nice plastic jar with a lid rather than a bag with a ziplock seal that sometimes doesn't line up.
I get tired of big calcium pills to swallow so this is easy just put it in with the rest of my powdered supplements. . It doesn't taste good so it's better if you put it in any flavorful juice.
Another great addition to my tool box thankyou Nutricost!
So grateful this product became available again:)
what I needed
I like that it dissolves well and I mix it with water in my sports bottle and drink it slowly during the day. Low and slow is best way to absorb calcium.
I really enjoy this product.
I have to take a lot of calcium citrate and I hate the large pills. Even broken down they are still hard to swallow. I've crushed them but they don't mix/dissolve well. This is slightly better ground than I could. It does not dissolve great in cold. I recommend putting in a small amount of liquid and drink at once before it separates. No taste so that's good, too! It's a lot easier to take than pills and it comes with a little bitty scoop so you don't need to use much for a “dose” and this tub will last me.
Easily mixed with tomato juice or applesauce for easy absorption
I had high hopes for this but you just didn't work out the fit wasn't good and it just didn't help it all with support or pain relief.
