OXO SoftWorks Stainless Steel Blade Apple Slicer

This OXO Apple Divider has been a godsend when it comes to littles that don't like to wait. As you can see in the video, super easy and straight forward. You position on the apple and press down. It also helps when you aren't really ready for your kids to use knives. I found that when used properly, your kids can get in on the help in a somewhat safe manner lol. I would totally recommend.

But the quality of OXO is worth the extra dollars. I bought a cheap one and I was the blade broke off and I ended up cutting my hand. Not too bad but it sure could have been. OXO, on the other hand, makes very sturdy products overall and this is no different. Easy to use, strong and works incredibly well. Even though it's more expensive than many others it's going to save you money, and likely injury, in the long run. I bought a few OXO products many years ago and I still have them. I trust OXO products.

I have purchased many OXO products, so I figured I would replace an older slicer with a name brand. It works as described and the blades are so much sharper. So happy I replaced with a name brand!

This item was far superior to the off brand one I initially purchased. It still requires a bit of pressure to cut through an apple, but I assume it is necessary so that people don't cut themselves too easily.

Briefly conducted research for quality, ease of use, etc. This apple slicer had consistently favorable ratings. Construction seems good, metal blades sharp, but seem a little thin. Time will tell concerning durability. I have only used this several times, (just received last week) but was impressed with how cleanly and easily it sliced each apple. As long as the blades remain sharp and metal attachment points remain secure, I see no reason why this slicer would not give years of service. Happy with this purchase.

I purchased this item to replace a Mainstay model and find the OXO a superior device. It's much sharper and practically glides through the apple. It requires far less force to slice an apple. I'm very happy with this purchase and as usual I'm very happy with my OXO product.

This works as expected and is easily cleaned.
