Panasonic Expandable Cordless Phone with Call Block and Answering Machine

I had a much older version of this phone for seems like twenty years before the LED screen starting failing. So, I replaced it with the latest version of the same phone. Fabulous. Same reliable phone with a few nice improvements. Love the white color.

The best thing about this product is that the handsets function as portable Caller ID units. We get several telemarketing calls every day, plus an occasional scam, which we can blithely ignore (such as "Your Amazon Credit Card was charged $429 dollars; press 1 to speak to customer service" or "Your Social Security benefits are about to expire. Please press 1 to speak to an operator!") The system can be used with wired phones; however, if you pick up a call with a wired phone, the wireless phone will say that you missed the call. A nice feature that's not mentioned above is that it can be set to suppress the first ring. This is meant to be part of the system's call block feature, but it also works well with our external Nomorobo service, which hangs up blocked calls after one ring. One thing to be aware of is that the base unit should be plugged into an Uninterruptible Power Supply (UPS) to maintain phone service even during a power outage. One thing that's lacking is at least one holster for the handheld units -- they either fall out of the pocket of everything I wear or the buttons get pressed (I don't have speed dial set up for that reason). But they certainly are durable -- I've dropped them about a dozen times, even a few times on the concrete basement floor. LOL

This phone is a replacement for my 9 year old cordless phone which was also a Panasonic. The new phone is great so much easier to read the keypad. I really enjoy the caller ID announcement which protects me from scam callers. Very easy to operate.

really like these phones...long range from base is good...but what the big seller for me is the 150 block call numbers!..so easy to do and works great!!!...worth every penny!

I got this for my mother. This is easy to use, and has a bright backlight. Making it easy for her to see the numbers and caller ID for incoming calls. I recommend this item.

Looks good. Good sound. Set one headset, other is done as well. Main use for answer machine at home. LOVE intercom. Have one headset in metal garage other in house. Crystal clear on both ends.

The panasonic telephones are great they come in crystal clear. The V=tech that I bought before the panasonic was all static. So I definately say go with the panasonic KX-TGD532W.

I have used Panasonic Cordless Phones for many years.I like the added feature of a button for call blocking.We all can use that.Clear and loud to not so loud as you like it with adjustable volume and the number of rings you prefer.

These phones are awesome. Easy to set up. Like the option of callers names being announced when they call even if they are not programmed into phone memory

The phones seem to be working well. The set up went well, instructions are clear. I am extremely frustrated to learn that I must pay to use the consumer support website - first month $1 - then about $68 a month thereafter - can't even register phone without signing in to this - as I understand it!! Due to pandemic, I am not going into stores - instead shopping online. Would not have purchased phone had I realized this earlier!! EJ EJ
