Pennington is my favorite as a new purchaser just last month. The contents of this woodpecker suet nuggets are a hit with my backyard birds. Since putting it into my suet feeder, I have seen increased presence of woodpeckers. I went from 1 daily woodpecker to 5 now. I love this product because my birds love it! I don't worry about the squirrels picking up the bird food anymore because these nuggets go right into my tubular suet nugget feeder. If my bird activity increases, then the products I am buying will be credited to highly favorable.

Woodpeckers and other birds really love this. Squirrels too. I don't have the special feeder for these nuggets; I just put it in a mesh ground feeder so all the critters have easy access to it. Sometimes I detect a slight vanilla scent to it that smells good so maybe that's why they like it better than the other kinds of suet nuggets.

I like using these nuggets with a suet brick. I think they help attract the birds and the suet keeps them coming back. I try to stock my feeders in the fall to help with the winter food deficient. They are easy for them to eat as the pellets easily break up but don't leave a mess.

I didn't realize there was such a thing as suet nuggets. I see they offer a specific feeder for these but if you don't have that it says on the bag that you can mix with regular bird feed so that's what I did. They smell just like peanut butter. My birds will be happy.

I am mixing bird food in a birdfeeder. I liked that this is a reseal tape on it so it doesn't go bad. The ingredients are looking really healthy for birds. I just need some of it and then seal the back again. It's very fun to give this to birds and watch them eating it.

These are great for all the birds in the forest. Everyone loves them. I have suet cakes out but not all the birds can grasp on the suet feeder %26 I found myself breaking up the cakes and letting the ground feeders get to it. Now I can just throw the balls out, add the suet balls to a mesh feeder and keep suet cake feeders up as well. Everyone is happy! I'd say the bag of suet balls is equivalent to appx 2.5 whole suet cakes so you're paying twice as much as if you'd buy the cakes, but it's ok occasionally. Also, they are about the size of peanut butter capn crunch cereal.

shrinkflation has hit suet. not sure as to why but you'd expect manufacturers that could be erased in a recession if food for humans eclipse the need or desire to feed wildlife. you'd maybe keep the prices moderate and not give less product for the price.

I like that these suet nuggets are made specifically to attract woodpeckers. They are easy to use and hold their shape. I wish corn was not the main ingredient, though. It would be nice if this had a more varied blend than just peanuts and raisins with oats and corn.
