Pennington Smart Seed Bermudagrass Grass, Bermuda Grass Seeds for Lawn, Full Sun, 8.75 lb

I spread 90lbs of another brand last year and got absolutely zero sprouts. We hired someone to sew seed earlier this year. He used the same stuff I bought last year and again, zero sprouts. Well, I went this past Thursday (6 days ago) and purchased an 8.75lb bag of Pennington Smart Seed Bermuda grass. I prepared the soil the same as I did last year and spread the seed. I've watered twice a day for 20 minutes each time (also did this last year and earlier this year). I have a lot of sprouts! I will be using this as my go-to from this point forward.

I love this grass. It is a fine bladed Bermuda grass that is relatively short, lush and thick. It almost looks like artificial turf.

This grass seed succeeded despite me. Bare soil? Check. Minimal raking? Check. Compacted ground? Check. Questionable confidence in my lawn-care abilities? Also check. Fast forward a few weeks and I've got tiny baby grass popping up all over the place. At this point, I'm taking daily progress photos and cheering on individual blades. If that's not a glowing review, I don't know what is.

At first I was skeptical if it would fill in the patches in my backyard. We had a freeze in January and nothing had really come back in this spot. It was a slow start but it's finally coming through. I even went on vacation for 5 days and didn't water and it's still working. It has a ways to go still but I'm happy with the seeds filling in my bare spots. I would definitely buy this and use again. I have already told me neighbors about it.

Is the tractor to loosen the soil completely went through the soil Raked it then drop the seats according to bag. It's been 20 days and still nothing. Literally absolutely nothing I live in Northern Arizona so it should have worked. Don't know why it didn't

Same as a lot of other comments. Seeded Lawn, watered daily, 2+ weeks and nothing. The seeds literally faded from green to white and are still there after 3 weeks. Bags says "Guaranteed to Grow" or your money back so I hope I can get a refund. Luckily, I only bought one bag to test it out. ** If you look at the picture I posted, the white rice looking things in the bare dirt is the grass seed thats been in my yard for two weeks **

This is the second bag of this Bermuda seed. Neither bag grew. I planted the winter seed from this brand and it grew great. Not the Bermuda seed. Disappointing.
