I already have 3 of the older model and love them for accent lighting. These new ones are perfect to add to my TV setup controlled with the Hue Sync box. I just wish they were packed better, they were falling out of the box when Fedex delivered them!! Luckily there was no scratches and seemed to work ok, but for such a high price they should be packaged better for shipping!
I love the beautiful color schemes that this light creates. It can set the a mood and give the room a unique character – just from light. It really makes the room.
I bought these a few weeks ago… and they've brought so much light to my condo. I paired them with the Hue Sync. Definitely worth the hefty price!
It's a Christmas present so I can't speak to the quality yet, but the price was great and it was easy to find in the web
I bought two of these to add to both sides of my TV adding onto my already existing Sync Box setup. Works great! I already have a couple of the regular ones and love how they throw light on the wall without really seeing the lamp itself. These new versions with more color zones work great with sync. The only negative was how they were packed and how fedex banged the boxes around during delivery. One was hanging out and the other box was totally ripped up. Luckily the lights themselves were ok, but Hue should pack these better for $300/each!
The beautiful ambient light that this simple low-profile lamp gives off is amazing. The ombré effect is gorgeous. Perfect for setting moods in the room. I wouldn't count on it for a bright light in a corner, since there is minimal up light, aimed at the ceiling. However, the glow it provides on the wall can get quite bright, eye level on down.
I've had these lamps previously and I bought 2 more because they are amazing! The reason for my low rating has to do with quality, both lights we received are flawed and I meant to reach out once we received them but moving across the country, reporting the issue got lost in the shuffle. 1 lamp has a dent in the base. The other lamp's base isn't completely flush. Sharing photos for vis.
Reduction in overall light intensity from its predecessor. Reduction in lifetime by 10,000 hours which is a 40% reduction from its predecessor. Shorter (and therefore less light emitted) than its predecessor. Price increase simply due to the gradient feature. What exactly is going on here?
The lamp is great but the way this thing was packaged was a joke. That's the reason for low rating. This is a fragile item and it was boxed up so flimsy I'm surprised it wasn't broken when it arrived. They need to step up the packaging of items like this.
I received the Gradient Signe floor lamp and tried plugging it in and it would not turn on or connect to my Philips hue app. Tried multiple outlets and even called customer service to ensure I was setting it up correctly. Box didn't seem damaged either but I ended up having to return it since it was not working. Pretty disappointing for a new product.
