People may not realize this but pork rinds are a rich source of Type I and Type III collagen. These specific types of collagen are the primary building blocks found predominantly in human skin, hair, nails, joints, and connective tissue. I love pork rinds but after a while they begin to hurt the roof of my mouth. But with Panko's PORQ rinds, I can just sit back and enjoy true pork rind flavor without hurting my gums or the roof of my mouth. They offer two other flavors but they are more suited for cooking, while this one is plain with just the right amount of salt and it just MELTS in your mouth! Mmmmm! My dad has dentures and he LOVES this brand. No other brand tastes this good. Thank you Panko for putting out a top notch product!

This is the best thing since sliced bread -for real-for anyone looking to cut carbs wherever possible. I cannot taste any flavor at all. It doesn't smell like pork rinds either. What it DOES DO brilliantly is add a wonderful crispiness to baked or fried goodies. I've made chicken %26 cheese patties and salmon patties and they add the perfect layer of crunch. I'm on keto I used the Pork Panko in the burgers I made instead of bread. Great taste slight smoke flavor.

The taste is fine, but it really does benefit from adding seasoning. I used [salt, black pepper, garlic powder, onion powder, paprika, and a dash of red pepper] mixed it in the product, coated the pork chops and delicious.

I had a pork loin that I needed to do something with and decided to try pork schnitzel. While looking around at recipes I found a couple that used crushed pork rinds instead of Panko and decided to try it. I was originally thinking of buying whole rinds and crushing them, then I noticed this (PORQ). At the time they were $6 for 10.5 oz and regular rinds were $2 - 3 for 4 oz, so about the same price. I don't know if it was the PORQ, the seasonings I put in my dredge, or a combination of both, but the schnitzel was FANTASTIC! Be advised that PORQ does include salt, so if you plan on seasoning your crumbs you may want to cut back on the salt. By themselves they have the classic pork rind (chicharrones) flavor so they are much more savory than bread crumbs. I plan on using these from now on for breading any savory dishes. I don't think that they would work well as a filler (such as meatloaf) because I doubt they would absorb moisture as well.

Eating low carb lifestyle and these are perfect for coating cube steak or mozzarella cheese sticks. The uses are only limited by your imagination. I season with garlic powder, onion powder, Italian seasoning, salt or pepper. Very crisp, tasty and actually tastes better than bread crumbs.

we made meatballs with this and it made them taste like dog food. not an exaggeration. literally like dog food. we froze the meatballs so that we can give them to our dog as healthy treats throughout the summer time.

This container is ready to expire. I read in the comments that it happens many times but thought I'd take a chance. Then they want me to either return it to the store or schedule a pick up which takes my time. I had it delivered for a reason. I don't want to go to the store.

These pork crumbs are FULL of hard crunchy pieces that aren't edible! I have thrown this item in the trash and will never buy this brand again! It seemed like there were pieces of ground bone in the crumbs. Absolutely horrible! Ruined my entire dinner and threw away $$$!!
