i have tried just about every sauce out there and this is my favorite. i will put a teaspoon of sugar in the jar as i like my sauce sweeter. the price is also very reasonable.
Great tasting sauce, generous amount and great work all types of pasta!!!!!
Grab this Jar! This is the only brand I use the 3 cheese is my favorite as I love CHEESE!!! I am the cheese PREGO stalker. My spaghetti must be perfect and this one hits the sweet spot. I am a repeat customer. P.S. I peel off the label to the jars and use it as my drinkware (24 piece set), Don't tell anybody (shhhh!)
Prego Three Cheese Italian Sauce tastes like somebody's Italian uncle said, “ehh, throw in more cheese” and nobody stopped him. Rich, creamy, and dangerously easy to demolish with half a loaf of bread before the pasta's even done cooking. I opened one jar and suddenly dinner turned into a full Italian production: sauce simmering, unnecessary hand gestures, and me yelling “mangia!” with no one else in the room. Buy it. Thank you.
I usually try to have two or three jars of Prego on hand so that depending on what mood I'm in or what I'm trying to make, I have the different varieties whether it be just plain or something different, but the three cheese I really like to have for maybe more of the pasta casserole
Delivers a solid, comforting flavor without needing much extra work. Pros: Rich, Cheesy Flavor • Blend of ricotta, parmesan, and romano cheeses • Smooth, slightly creamy texture • Great balance of tomato and cheese—not too acidic Thick %26 Ready to Use • Nice, thick consistency that sticks to pasta well • No need to simmer for long • Works great straight out of the jar Convenient %26 Family-Friendly • Easy meal solution for busy nights • Widely liked flavor (great for picky eaters) • Gluten-free and made with common pantry ingredients Cons: Slightly Sweet for Some • Contains added sugar • Not as “authentic” tasting as homemade • Some may prefer a more savory sauce Basic Flavor Profile • Can taste a bit simple on its own • May need extra seasoning (garlic, herbs, meat) • Not as bold as premium sauces Processed Ingredients • Includes oils and additives • Cheese is blended into sauce, not fresh • Not ideal if you want all-natural or homemade-style Summary: Budget-friendly option that makes dinner easy. It's thick, cheesy, and super convenient—perfect for quick pasta nights, casseroles, or even dipping. It's not gourmet, but it's consistent and gets the job done every time. If you want a simple, tasty sauce without the hassle, this is definitely worth keeping stocked in your pantry.
This sauce has been a hit with my family. This is the only sauce they want me to use from now on. We love the subtle cheesy flavor. Definitely recommend!
This is the pasta sauce I almost always use. It has great flavor and the right thickness, I do add more garlic to it and basil and oregano and it makes all my pastas dinners taste authentic! Highly recommended.
I like the texture of the three cheese sauce and mild cheesy effect, I add ground beef, mushrooms, onions, chalula and sometimes spinach to my pasta sauce.
I love Prego pasta sauce I love everything about it it tastes great it gives me a warm feeling but I cannot give it a five star because my Nana in heaven would get mad at me..
