the trolling motor mount allows me to mount the motor on the bow or side of my aluminum jon boat. this gives me more options depending on if I have others with me in the boat. the mount does just as described in the ad with no need to drill holes in my boat.

This item just worked very well. Note this bracket/mount is much bigger than I expected. But it works well.

Fits my 14' V-Bottom perfectly. It is rather large but beats adding metal pieces to the front of my boat. Loosen up some the second time I used it, but overall a great product thus far.

Easily mounted to the bow of my jon boat. Works great with my 40lb thrust trolling motor.

Since my transom area was too tight for a trolling motor I use this motor mount on the gunnel. It works very well and is made well also. I recommend it.

I have an older v hull jon-boat that doesn't have a platform on the bow and needed a way to mount a trolling motor up front. Over the past couple of years, I just mounted the transom mount trolling motor directly to the bow and just live with the fact that it wobbled a little and was decently loose. After adding this product, my trolling motor is now a lot more secure on the bow of my boat. The only downside is that this product will slightly elevate your trolling motor... My motor is still under the water, but has been brought up a few inches so it's still ok. Definitely consider this when buying this product though.
