I did not pay complete attention to the product description when selecting this ProSource multi loop stretching strap. Upon arrival I was surprised to find it is not at all elastic as I assumed it would be. But that just means resistance must be provided by the user. And that's OK. Because it was not elastic I was not sure at first about what all the all the loops did. But it turns out they are spaced so that one is never out of reach for a hand or foot hold. I have been using it for a few days now doing routines that I think will improve the range of motion of my right and left shoulders. Between the two of them I have been unable to completely wash my back for a couple of years! After a few days of use I can report that the range of motion for both right and left arms seems to be improving. Cannot quite yet clutch my fingers together behind my back over my shoulder, but much closer than any time in the past couple of years. Going to start on the knees next. Have not been able to lower into a full squat on the left side for many moons but I think this strap will improve that as well. It is not going to do anything for the arthritis pain or broken cartilage or ligaments. But I expect to see an easier time doing gardening and in the wood shop come Spring. And being able to get my back washed without using the long handled brush will be a big improvement!
The ProsourceFit Multi-Loop Stretching Strap for Yoga and Physical Therapy is an essential tool for runners and those who need to have a good stretch. I measured it to be about 96 inches long and 1.5 inches wide. It has 10 green loops and two looped “handles" on each end. This is made of a webbing material and is not stretchy. It is comfortable to handle, too. There are 8 types of stretching exercises included with the instructions. I did find more exercises on the internet that I found helpful. I found this device to be very sturdy which helped give a very good stretching workout. I liked doing all the exercises. It is amazing how well I felt after stretching with the ProsourceFit Multi-Loop Stretching Strap. It says it can be used for physical therapy, too. I have used the “stretchy” bands before. But this device worked so much better. You only need this one band and it can be used for all levels of stretch. As you increase flexibility, you can use different loops. Also, you can use different loops to adjust for your height as needed. I truly recommend this multi-loop stretching strap to anyone who needs to incorporate a good stretch into your fitness routine - it's great for warmup and cool down stretching, too.
Lets admit it. We all need to stretch more than we do. Which for me was very little to none. I know of all the benefits so this strap will hopefully motivate me to do it more often. I have lower back issues and this has seems to alleviate those since receiving this item. I really like all the various loops and adjustability. I like that its made of strong stitched nylon. Work your way up or down the strap as your flexibility increases or simply need to adjust during physical therapy for the ideal release every time. Also, for added comfort the padded handles won't dig into your palms, especially when you are releasing tight problem areas. Ideal for incorporating into your regular warm-up or cool down routines or merely stretching independently. Hoping to improve the pain from golfing so I can play for many years to come!
Professional quality stretch strap, exactly like the one used by PT, at a great price.
The strap great for easy change in stretching With multiple loops you and your partner can easily use ot to work out with. No metal straps to hit you in the face and a nice little storage bag for on the go
Getting physical therapy for plantar fasciitis, and hated using a sheet to do the exercise to stretcg=h my calf. I was happy to find this product, exactly like one my therapist has, on the website.
Perfect timing. New Year's Resolution time. This strap is so unique. All the loops are great, so individualized. I have two sets of therapy bands. A spectrum of colors. I will be so glad to get rid of them. I hated using them, even had a couple break on me. The loops allow me to work at a comfortable level and work up as my strength and flexibility improves. The included exercise sheet is easy to follow and nothing in there is hard or a strain to do. I always seem to have an annual trip to a physical therapist for a series of appointments that are inconvenient to say the least. My own fault for not doing the follow up exercises as instructed, and then I would be back at “go”. I enjoy using this band and am pretty sure I will stick with it on my own this year. I am getting older and noticeably less flexible and this should combat some of that problem. More energy the more you move, I notice, and even the neon green webbing is a cheerful sight as I begin my routine, Overall this is exactly what I needed and didn't even know that it existed.
I am not sure about these things. I thought that they would stretch. But they do not stretch. I guess what you do is use them when you are stretching. They are made out of the kind of material that a strap for a bag is made out of. It feels like it is very sturdy and could last a long time. The sewing done to make the different loops is really good sewing. It looks and feels very sturdy. The strap is ninety five inches long and one and a half inches wide.. It has ten loops in it to use as foot holds. Or to use as hand holds. Or maybe as both hand and foot holds at the same time. It comes with instructions for doing the different stretches the strap can be used for. There are eight different stretches in the instructions. It gives you very specific directions for doing them correctly. It makes it easy to do the different stretches the correct way when you do them. I was expecting these to stretch and since they did not I was a bit put off by them some. But when I used the as the instructions say it did work. It did feel like I was getting a really good stretch from them. The strap comes in a bag that makes it easy to store or to take with you to use outside of the home. The bag seems like it will last for a while. And the bag has a real good tie with a clasp closer on it. It will stay closed when used correctly.
When I saw the name of this item, I thought I was going to receive some sort of stretchy band with loops. I work out regularly so that would have been useful. This item is more like the tiedown that my husband uses to secure his boat when it's on a trailer. It is about an inch wide and over six feet long. There is absolutely no give to it at all and I cannot see any purpose to the loops. A piece of rope would be more useful than this thing. It is apparently supposed to be used to stretch your muscles. There is a pamphlet includes that shows several suggested poses. Perhaps it might be useful for some types of yoga or therapy but I cannot see it being useful for a regular workout. It definitely needs a new name that describes it more accurately. I was disappointed in this item and will be donating it to a thrift store
I had high hopes for this stretching strap, but didn't have much use for it. I'm 4'10 and the straps are a bit long for me to do any type of floor exercises with it. There isn't a way to shorten the strap. If there is, I haven't found a way. I was kind of hoping there would be some sort of resistance with the strap. If anything, this reminds me of a giant ribbon. However, it is thick and most likely will hold up for a while. It comes with a nice bag to put the strap away when not in use. The bright side? I can use it as a jump rope. I would recommend this product for someone on the taller side.
