at first I thought this small box would not cover the job and was surprised upon delivery to see it was as small as it was; but heavy. It covered the patch in my basement wall, but I will order another box to even it out. I guess the heavy price was to cover the free shipping which I did not appreciate such deceit as a 40 pound bag from Home depot just cost around $5.99 years ago. after all, its just dirt.
I used this mortar mix to repair my bathroom stone shower floor, and it worked perfectly! The mix was easy to use, smooth to apply, and set up solidly. It provided a strong, durable bond that gave my shower floor a fresh finish. Highly recommend for anyone doing similar repairs.
Just needed a small amount of mortar to repair a hole in a brick chimney in the kitchen that had an old pipe where a stove was once vented. As a 70 DIY guy, didn't want to buy an 80 pound sack from Home Depot and then have to lug it home. Getting a 10 pound sack in the mail from Walmart did the trick! To match the new mortar to the old mortar just blotted the new mortar with damp freshly brewed tea bags. There was even some mortar left over to complete another small project that involved adding a row of brick to a fireplace to allow installation of an insert. Couldn't be happier--Walmart saved the day!
i purchased this item to use in building a fence. its exactly as described and works great. read the directions.
I u seed it to weigh downa couple of planters
It's awesome that Walmart carries this and not have to travel over to a hardware store
Great. Not heavy
It hasnt been the full recommended amount of time for it to cure, so i can't really that part of it yet, but it was fairly easy to work. just added a little bit of water at a time and made sure it had the right consistency. seems to have a decent hold after the first 48 hours at least.
The Walmart bag was damaged causing mold to grow inside bag. Concrete was ruined
when delivered package was ripped and half the product was empty
