RCA Portable Retro 6-can Mini Fridge RMIS129 in Red

This was the perfect birthday gift for my "tween" granddaughter. I also cooled and filled it with her favorite soda. She absolutely loves it!

Wow!!! This mini-frig is one of the best gift purchases ever! It's a perfect amenity for Grandma's room. It keeps her little juice boxes and snacks close at hand and chilled to perfection!

Absolutely love it! Perfect for keeping lunch refrigerated while at work or even to just keep drinks and coffee creamer cold at my desk so I dont have to use the office fridge.

The design is perfect but the cooling can improve

The inside back kept freezing up and icing over. It did keep my drinks cold at work, but when the ice melted, it made a mess. Not worth the money.

Within 1 week, the fridge started making loud noise. It was not due to what it was placed on; noise came from the back of the fridge. Unfortunately, I did not set up immediately after purchase so I could not return it.

I like the look of the Arctic Chef Mini Retro 6 Can Beverage Refrigerator. The size is good for what I wanted. However, I am returning the unit. The AC power cord doesn't plug into the unit securely. The slightest vibration causes the cord to come loose at the unit. That causes an interruption of power so the unit isn't cooling. When I first plugged the unit in, it started up so I left the room. Later in the day my husband went back to check it and the cord had loosened with no one in the room and the unit was not running. He wiggled the cord to get it running again then put a thermometer in to check the cooling. When we went back later, it was still running and had cooled to 45°F in a room that was between 68° and 70°F. While not a temperature for keeping food safe, it's sufficient for my needs. The loose cord remains a problem, though. After playing with it, we couldn't find a way to keep it securely plugged. The uncertainty of keeping the unit running is the reason I am returning the it
