This stuff is fantastic! I was a little concerned at the cooking instructions of rehydrating it, but it smelled great while cooking. In fact, my teenage daughter came into the kitchen twice to ask what was for dinner because it smelled so good. I used this in a pizza casserole and it did great. Really like that it is soy free. And, really, really like that it is pantry cupboard stable. Great product.

After following the package directions, the product formed easily into patties, cooked well and had 90% of the consistency of a real ground beef burger. My daughter is a vegetarian who got me to try this product. When my wife wants a burger this what we'll use.

All the mock meats on the market tend to have a lot of concerning and questionable ingredients. This product is different! Fewer ingredients, clean ingredients, and no common allergens like soy or wheat. That's very hard to come by! It's rather pricey but I splurge on it now and then to make specialty favorite meals! There is a taco flavor option too.

This is such good clean pea protein. The flavorings are natural and can add to pasta or Mexican dishes. Haven't tried to make a burger yet. I really like how these taste just like any other fake meat product you need to flavor g to see and they absorb whatever sauce I cook the in. Nice chewy variation between small and larger meat chunks. These are great but are too expensive even though the protein expands when it absorbs the boiling water I wis there was more in the package.

I didn't know the brand also has pre-seasoned flavors. Spiced it up and used it to re-create my beloved Double Decker tacos. Nice having a meaty product inside the corn taco to get the contrast with the refried beans in the outer flour taco.

Great product Bought many many times Flavor how u wish I personally add some panko bread crumbs to it after I've rehydrated the mixture as it directed and I add some spelt flour and two eggs and I mix it up well and fried on an iron griddle let me tell you what it looks exactly like hamburger meat on the inside and outside and grills exactly like it as far as flavor no of course it doesn't taste like hamburger but it's a good substitute I also add in the wet mixture before doing that I put some teriyaki sauce and some nama shuyo

For me, the real value of this product is its shelf stability. It's nice to just have on hand if I'm ever in a pinch and/or the good stuff isn't in stock locally. I just followed the package directions exactly and it performs and cooks well, tastes pretty good, and was easy to season/flavor how I normally would. It does start to become gelatinous as it sits, which could be off-putting, so I would suggest making sure it's going to be eaten as soon as it's ready, but it reheats okay.

I like that this product is shelf-stable and easy to cook. My first time cooking with it I was not sure what to expect in terms of texture or results. It ended up making a decent approximation of ground beef, but it's been a long time since I've touched or tasted the real thing. The product felt like cooking with ground beef, but was very chewy in the mouth.

Unlike other more convenient, plant-based, meat-like foods that are now disappearing off the shelves, this product comes as a dry, mealy substance that has to be cooked. It tastes good once prepared but must be prepared all at once %26 is time-consuming and not at all convenient. I would only buy it again if nothing else were available.

The texture is decent, but honestly it mostly tasted like pepper and salt. Following the instructions on the package only seems to explain how to cook it, not how to season it or turn it into an actual flavorful burger. I think this product would benefit from clearer preparation suggestions or a simple recipe on the package, especially for people new to plant-based meats. Because it is not the cheapest veggie meat option, I expected more flavor and guidance. It may taste better with additional ingredients and seasoning, but the package does not really explain that. With the right add-ins it could probably work well, but on its own it was underwhelming.
