Royal® 6 Sheet Cross-Cut Shredder, Black, CX6

I've only used this shredder a few times but I love it. No problem shedding 6 pieces of paper at a time. I also shredded some old licenses and credit card with no problem first shredder I've bought and I'mso happy with this item. And the price way right. Does what it saids it's going to do. So far so good!!! Great product

I tried to use this to shred a lot of old documents and 30 mins it was hot and shut down. So I am going through years of papers and putting them in a bag and take it to a shredding company and get rid of it and only use this for daily use.

Upon arriving, I immediately unpacked it and put it to use. It ran beautifully for a while, then jammed up. It hadn't occurred to me you had to EMPTY it. My bad. After emptying it and picking some of the jam out, it went right back to it's former efficiency. It has a reverse feature to help unjam it, which you probably won't need if you empty it occasionally. It shreds light cardboard, too, like cereal boxes and stuff. It chops up the staples, too. If I have a lot of stuff to shred in the future, I'm just gonna set it on a bigger box.

It arrived very quickly, well packaged and worked out of the box. It is not commercial or office size: has only small sheet capacity and bin capacity, but it is good for occasional use at home.

I am very happy with my new shredder.

It's fine if you have just a few papers to shred. I had to fold the paper in half as the feed wasn't long enough. I constantly had to stop and dig out the paper in the middle because it wouldn't feed thru even after I reversed and used the clear button. I wish the bin had a clear view so I could see where the line of shredded paper was, as I was always lifting the lid off to see. It was priced to high for as small as it is. I will keep it though and shred more often.

This was a very disappointing purchase; small capacity feeder, small waste receptacle, will jam, regularly, on one sheet of paper. One of many occasions where the actual product didn't live up to the online hype. DO NOT PURCHASE THIS PRINTER FOR MORE THAT $15-$19.00. If you do, you'll be sorry!

I didn't use it after reading instructions . You can use it for 2 minutes then must wait 30 minutes before you can continue and you cant go over staples .

I was very disappointed with this shredder. It is listed as a crosscut shredder, but it is not a crosscut shredder! It shreds in strips. I purchased this shredder because I already had a shredder that shreds in strips and it's recommended that you use a crosscut shredder for security. Well I could have saved my money had I known that this isn't a crosscut shredder. Do not waste your money on this shredder if you are looking for a crosscut shredder. Even as a regular strip shredder it's below average. Shredded several credit cards and each time it got stuck and I had to use the power button to get it through the shredder. On a couple I had to use both reverse and the power button to get it to go through. Very disappointed with this shredder. They need to change the description because it is not as advertised.
