SABRE Frontiersman 9.2 oz Bear Spray with Practice Spray, White, 9.5 in., 1 Ct, Adult

I got this bear spray because my husband goes hunting every year, we go camping throughout the summer and I just want us to be protected when we are in the forest. We haven't had to use the spray yet and honestly I hope we never have to (I will update my review if we ever do need to use it. It's definitely make me feel safer having it with us.

My family loves to camp and here in Utah, we have a lot of bears, in the back country and Mountains. I always feel nervous, in our tent, wondering what we would do if we ever came across a bear. I am so glad to have this product and it's so awesome that it comes with a “training unit” so you can have a practice can, before using the real can. The instructions are clear and easy to understand. I take mine with me, whenever I go on hikes, or camping.

Ok so I have here pictured my husband preparing his training just in case he needs to protect us when we take our bear spray hiking on our next vacation. The package states it can spray 30 ft. And offers bursts of spray not just a continuous flow. He measured exactly 30' and with a few burst I have pictured the slightest wind taking the spray and only allowing it to reach about 13 ft leaving 17 more feet. Not only that when he sprayed the training spray the wind blew away from us but just for caution to others, we all had a headache as soon as it went into the air even tho we weren't in its direct path. So just a heads up when taking this specific bear spray along on your next hiking adventure.

Good stuff works great exactly as described shoots super far now I can feel safer when on walks we live in the mountains so there's a uneasy feeling at times this is a great product use as described and it will work as described I recommend this product

This is just what I needed for camping and hiking to be prepared for the unexpected. It's always better to be safe rather than sorry. I like that the canister is much bigger than a regular can of paper spray so it will work on larger animals like bears and mountain lions which is what we have in the words in the areas we like to go camping and hiking. I thought it was genius that it also came with a practice can so you can make sure you know how to use it properly. It won't do any good if you don't know how to use it in an emergency.

Bear spray. My husband thought it might be necessary for camping. Not sure that's true but regardless we have it now. It comes with a practice can to learn how it works. And if you did actually need it, in an emergency, you would want to know how it works. I can't say if it will actually stop a bear or other intruder but we have it just in case.

I got this bear spray to keep in our trailer for when we go camping. Luckily, I have not had to use it yet, but it's nice knowing it is there. It comes with two canisters—one is the actual spray and the other is a practice canister, so you can make sure you know how to use it properly. There are a lot of warnings on the packaging, so be sure to thoroughly read them before storing it for emergency use.

I purchased two weeks ago practice spray was expired as of two months ago and actual spray that is intended to save my life expired this month! i tried returning it and its ineligible for a return due to walmart policy. what am I suppose to do with expired products?

Walmart sold me out of date/expired product (bear spray training spray). Both cans expired last year (10/23). And because of the nature of the product, Walmart's claims systems denies me a refund. What a rip off!!

I bought them in July 2024and they will expire in August 2024! I can't return them due to the policy! Very disappointed! Don't buy!!
