Soil Scoop

I use this scoop for container gardening. What I love is that the soil doesn't spill over the sides like with a regular hand shovel and it holds a lot of potting media. It's lightweight but feels sturdy. Fiskars should make a larger one. I would recommend.

I like that it's easy to hold and feels extremely high quality. Our plants are indoor plants so unfortunately I can't speak for its effectiveness during outside use.

I will use this in the spring when I transfer seedlings from my windowsill garden into my outdoor planting beds. For now, I am using it to scoop dry cat food from the large bin into their individual bowls. This is a very well-made scoop and I have no worries about its durability due to the trusted Fiskars name and my previous experience with their scissors and garden/yard tools.

It is so hard to find durable and quality products to use that will withhold a dog grabbing the handles and running around or our kids. This product is so amazing! It's durable, easy to use, comfortable when working in the yard, easy to squirt off with the hose and has a great grip.

Though it's not sharp to be able to force it into the ground, it's more than capable of scooping small amounts of things and is comfortable enough to hold. It's a good size and easy to clean. My toddler loves to play with it as well to dig even if that's not its original purpose.
