Xact Weeder SoftGrip Handle Stainless Steel Blade

Best digger I have ever used. Made by Fiskars, so you know it's quality. Easy clean with oiled sand. Both blade and handle. It has a serrated side and a blade side. The end is just sharp enough to easily push through dirt.

This weeder is built tough. The weight of the thing makes it feel like it can tackle even those tough weeds. I have used it on a few in our gravel driveway and it worked great. Plus I tried it in our garden with soft soil and it was super simple to use.

Fiskars has always been a good brand and this weeder doesn't disappoint. It is very well made and heavy duty. I don't think you could bend it like the cheap ones I've always bought in the past. Here in AZ we have these awful invasive sticker weeds and these are perfect for digging in and getting them out by the root. Highly recommend.

I really like this tool because of tying to pull the weed at the root, I can use this tool to get around the sides and the eoo. It easily lifts the root up completely. Where was this tool my whole life! Using this tool is a lot easier is a lot easier on my back. I use it every weekend. I love it!

I am very familiar with Fiskars products. I am a crafter and I do have several scissors, paper cutters and tools made by Fiskars. They make great products. The Xact Weeder is a great addition to Fiskars line of products. I actually was surprised to see a garden tool. The Weeder is well made and very study even in weight. I chose this tool not so much for weeding but in hopes that the tool would help me dig a deeper hole for my garden solar lights. The garden light stakes are just barely in the ground. They are made of plastic and I'm afraid of forcing the stakes into the ground for fear they will break. Since the ground is pretty hard I wasn't able to dig deeper holes. With the Weeder I was able to dig a hole without any problems. The serrated edges on both sides of the Weeder helped. It went into the ground easily. I twisted and turned until I dug a hole deep enough to stick a light in. Now I can reposition all the lights and they won't fall over any more. In one of my pictures I am digging out a dead plant that's been there for a year. I had no problem digging it out. I find the Weeder very easy to use and handy. This is a tool that every one should have. I definitely recommend the Fiskars Xact Weeder.

This weeder is built like a tank. I'm kind of "fussy" about my tools but this thing is great. It works very well to uproot the weeds without disturbing the adjacent plants, and it is really solid. The handle is comfortable and it's long enough to give you leverage for those deep roots. The steel is very thick and the weld between the handle and the blade is more than adequate. It has a lifetime warranty and it is built to last. If you need a weeder, buy it. You won't be sorry.

I own a number of Fiskars hand gardening tools, including a hand scoop, transplanting trowel, pruning clips, hand rake, and scissors (for cutting suckers in the vegetable garden), but had never seen the Xact Weeder before. This is just what I needed to get weeds out by the roots without destroying everything around them! I will hide this from my husband, who frequently walks off with my garden tools! Pros: The "teeth" on one side made it easy to get through the ground around the weed. The weeder isn't so large that it removes adjacent plants, in my case St. Augustine grass. I was very careful to position the weeder at the base of the weed before beginning the removal process. With very little effort, I was able to remove a single weed that was growing amidst the St. Augustine next to a sprinkler head without damaging the grass. We are "blessed" with spotted spurge, narrow-leaf plantain, and various other weeds, so removing weeds is an ongoing project regardless of the season. I have been using my Fiskars trowel to dig up weeds, which often leaves a hole in the lawn. This Xact Weeder will make that project much easier, require much less effort, and create much less damage! Cons: The Fiskars Xact Weeder is a bit heavy. I have small hands and used both of them to dislodge the weed. For a person with average-sized hands, this would not be a problem.

As a female hand-tool-aholic with small hands, this wasn't love at first touch. The handle is chunky with no finger grooves and not well balanced. The blade is 7" and the handle 8". There's nothing sharp to the blade, including the serrated edge. The end of the blade is blunt, not pointed. This can be used as a small garden trowel for digging and planting. I'm not a gardener but I needed a strong weeder to dig up blue ribbon dandelions and other invasive plants/weeds. I give it 4 stars because it's well made, strong and didn't bend in the least. I would recommend the women and elderly to try this on for fit because hand fatigue will set in do to the weight and chunky handle.

This tool is great for many reasons, will be great for use in the yard and I used it for my walkways which are made like cobblestone and has gaps in between. The tool gets all unwanted weeds out of the crevices really well. I believe this is a great little product! Would recommend!
