Spring Valley Calcium Citrate Dietary Supplement Tablets for Bone Health, 600 mg, 300 Count

I did a dissolve test and these calcium pills dissolved in less than three minutes in tepid water, I am very impressed. I usually chase them down with a bite of food, after I drink them with water. All calcium citrate pills are large. Well worth the money. I have subscribed to them.

Calcium citrate is probably a better form of calcium to take than other types because it is more bioavailable than other forms of calcium so your body can actually absorb it and use it for bone health and maintenance. Good value compared to other brands. Be aware you should take an additional vitamin d supplement because this does not have any in it and you need that for bone health too.

After having gastric bypass surgery, I must take mineral additives for my diet. I loved the calcium citrate chewable gummies, but at $45 for a 90 day supply, the gummies were not cost effective. I switched to this caplet about a year ago, and my tests results are normal, this is way cheaper and just as effective as the higher priced gummies.

Next time I will buy it with Vitamin D 3, I think is what I was looking for. But if you only want calcium citrate then it's good as far as I can see.

Great deal on the cost for so many tablets! Slightly large but I just pop them in half. Taste is not bad. I eat before taking them and easy on my stomach .

The Walmart Pharmacist recommended this type of calcium caltrate w/Vitamin D to me, saying it breaks down better than calcium carbonate . I appreciate Walmart having a knowledgeable, helpful Pharmacist whose advice I can trust as a customer.

The description was not clear regarding the size of these tablets. they are larger than what I can take. They happily refunded my money. I'm sure they're good.They have the same things %26 quantity of stuff in them as any others.

The product itself is good, but the tablets are extremely large and very hard. They're difficult to swallow and can slightly irritate the throat. It would be great if you could improve the presentation — maybe making them smaller, coated, or easier to swallow. That would make the daily intake much more comfortable.”

I found the label rather misleading. in large type it read 600 mg calcium then in very tiny type per serving, not per tablet. one must take two of these very large tablets to consume 600 mg of calcium. the upside is calcium citrate is said to be the best form of calcium supplement.
