castor oil is thick. I read online to use jaboba oil to help in spread. I use lotion to spread on my face. good quality, smells good, good value. I also used old pillow case on my pillow and old T-shirt under my nightgown for nightly use on my stomach.

this is one of my favorite oils to use. and I love this brand I've been buying this for more than a year now. it always comes exactly as it shows on the photo. you get a lot of product. I go through at least two to three a year. and for the price you really can't beat it. I love to use this on my hair and my skin my nails. especially my face. I really love using castor oil as a carrier to help make other products more potent. I would highly recommend this

I saw several reviews listing a bad scent - mine arrived with no odor whatsoever. It is thick, to relase from bottle I found holding upside down and dabbing motion worked the best. Seems to be a quality product, no complaints

I wanted to try castor oil since it is all the rage on YouTube. I found Spring Valley Castor oil in with the vitamins of all places! This brand is 100% pure, organic, unrefined, cold pressed, %26 hexane free. It checked all the boxes except one, it didn't come in a glass bottle, I bought it anyway. My skin has become brighter scars diminishing, my skin has no crepey look, my neck is firmer. I bath in it everyday. I do the belly button %26 stomach thing w/o the wraps. This helps with my stretch marks. Most important it helps with inflammation, %26 the price $6.88. I never dilute it, it is thick but it absorbs well. I use alot at night, during the day it's on my face %26 eyelashes because it does stop my dry eyes, bonus lashes are fuller. I pour it into the many amber glass bottles I keep from essential oils that ran thru the dish washer. I have bottles in every room. Your feet will love it, I slather it on at night%26 put on socks. Light not overbearing scent unlike other products. I use it twice daily mixed with my moisturizer %26 night cream on my face %26 neck. I had some dry spots from over exposure to the sun and now they have completely disappeared. My face is more supple, smooth and glowing. I also mix it with body lotion and apply after showering while my skin is damp. My skin is not as crepe as it was and so much smoother. I massage just the oil on my heels %26 feet twice a week. It' soaks in the dry areas really well leaving my feet nice and smooth. I definitely will continue this regime and purchase again!

I love this oil! I use it instead of face or body lotion, and it is simply perfect. it keeps my skin moisturized for days. It is thick and has a medium nutty or toasty smell that pairs well with most fragrances. It must be applied slow to hair or skin due to its viscosity.

Got this because I've heard it's good for dry skin. It's been one day since I used it and found it helped with my dry skin. It is very thick and look a while to massage into my skin but it did seem to help. The palms of my hands are very dry lately so I'll be applying it at nights on my hand to see if it helps for such bad cracked skin. The smell isn't bad.

I haven't used the product yet though still give just 1-star due to the condition or the product upon arrival to my home. I took it out of the bag and oil had leaked from the top onto other items in my order. Not impressed.

it came in a plastic bottle so now I can't use it for what I wanted to use it 4 castor oil leach plastic from plastic bottles if I would have known I wouldn't have bought it sorry wasn't in the description
