Stanley fat max 25 foot tape measure
Excellent quality, heavy duty should last me a very long time in my hobby workshop

good tape measure
Have had this same tape measure for 12 years. finally broke. The new one does not have as much spring loaded retraction or extend as far as the old one before tape part flops and falls. Still fine tape, but "they sure don't make them like they used to"

Better than the rest
This is the only tape I've ever used since its inception in the late 1990s. As a union carpenter, im constantly taking measurements, whether it be laying out partitions, cutting drywall, or measuring studs or ceiling grid. . Fatmax tapes definitely last the longest of all the brands out there. Its the only tape you'll find in my tool bag.

I can wear tape measures out in one year, These last me at least two years, This is my second Fat Max tape measure in 5 years, Good Job !

Ruined once tip gets a little bend.
Once the end hook got bent, have not gotten it bent back to accuracy. Really don't think it should've bent that easy, but can not wrap my head around getting it bent back correctly. So it's been setting in a drawer, unused, for about 2months after purchase.

Use a different vendor
Buy it from a different vendor, I'm not sure the one I got was brand new.
