Some people say the whole is better than isolated parts. I've noticed no difference positive or negative after switching from the patented C3 Complex to this product, taken with Bioperine. The main difference is the price, and I think this may be a better way to add Curcumin, as well as everything else that's in whole Turmeric.

I have used turmeric with ginger in another brand - very disagreeable with my digestive tract. Although ginger is supposed to relieve digestive probs. - I find that not true with me.The Swanson brand does not contain ginger and has worked well for me.

I trust Swanson vitamins for purity and consistency, but I just learned from my doctor that she wants me using turmeric extract. Ground rhizome root is a more whole form that has more complementary components included, but is not as potent in curcuminoids as a concentrated extract, which can be 15x-25x stronger. No wonder I wasn't feeling much results from this, I needed a more potent product. I may come back to this product later as a buffer or a better choice for a more whole-foods approach to turmeric/curcumins.
