Getting these as a pair made them a terrific buy, but even better than that, they are easier to read than the ones I purchased previously. The SAFE temperature zone is bold and makes it very clear if your refrigerator is not keeping as cold as it should be. I've found that even just a little warmer than the red zone, and your milk will sour days sooner than if it stays in the red zone. I detest pouring milk down the drain, so I like to insure that it lasts longer than the date on the carton.
Thermometers work well. I have used them before. The suction cups come disattached easily but I do not use them anyway. It is always good to know refrigerator temperatures especially when grandson accidently leaves the door ajar!
I like the fact that you get two of these thermometers. Work great. Can mount it to wall inside fridge and freezer. Easy to read. Great value for the money. Would buy again!
I would recommend 👍 It's a nice set of thermometers. Works as intended. Mine measured 4.74” wide by 1.25” height. The suction cups have held without any issues for over a week now. The only thing I don't like is you can only read the thermometer from a certain angle. (Not a big deal nevertheless you do have to move your head to the correct angle to see the fluid in the thermometer)
Overall, for the price it's okay. It gets the job done. I don't like that it doesn't stick well at all. It seems to always fall out or get pushed ack behind some items. But again, for the price, it works.
One of the thermometers worked and one does not. The fluid had separated in one and so I looked up the product online and the manufacturer website said to tap it gently against your hand so the fluid would settle back down together at the bottom. It did not after a lot of tapping. The fluid is still exactly the same separated all over the place so a temperature reading is impossible of course. I let it sit upright on the counter several days thinking maybe gravity would do it. Nope. Put it in the freezer just to see-the display didn't change fluid stayed separated just like at room temperature. One out of the 2pack seems to work ok but the other is completely useless.
Years ago I bought 2 of the older models / version of this thermometer. They were easy to read and worked great. Apparently new and improved isn't always improved / better. These are much more difficult to read. What good is a thermometer if you can't read it? Go back to the old model where you can see the temperature when you open the door and not have to be right on top of it. V/R
Using in the freezer caused the red reading liquid to split into parts that wouldn't go back together even when following instructions. So, readings were inaccurate.
- Red temperature indicator line faded %26 unreadable after about a month on both units! - JUNK! - I've used Taylor brand for year as my go to thermometer devices thay are now useless!
First of all the suction cups don't stay in the bracket like they appear to be designed to do . You have to just lay it on the shelf whether it's in the Frig Or Freezer. The Bracket is very poorly made. Also it reads completely different than my other thermometers. Another waste of Money.
