Tide Laundry Detergent Plus Ultra Oxi Powder, 73 Loads, 114 oz

legit never thought I'd be a "powder girl".... if you're not, i can't even explain how much you're missing out.... nothing comes close to treating stains like tide powder

finally found a detergent that the smells lingers and cleans clothes will continue to buy

oxi and tide is like tequila and coca cola.

I decided to try powder because it seemed like I was constantly buying the liquids and thought maybe the powder would last longer. I was pleasantly surprised! It makes my laundry smell so fresh and cleans better than the liquid. I am forever changed!

I underwent neck surgery and bled a fair amount onto my pillow cases afterward. --one pink, one white. Two weeks later, I soaked them in COLD water for an hour (to avoid "setting" the stain), then washed with hot water and ultra oxy in a front-loading washer. The stains are totally, and I mean totally, gone. The powder, especially in larger sizes, is cheaper than the liquids, and dissolved just fine in my washer. When price shopping, make sure you're looking for the "ultra oxy" version, which is what I used.

This oxi Tide powder detergent is amazing. It works great to soak stained clothing in as well. This is probably the best laundry detergent I have ever used as well as the Tide ultra oxi liquid version of this.

Tide has always been better than other products at getting my clothes clean but it doesn't seem to get stains out as well as it used to.

Tide Ultra Oxy White significantly reduced the hazelnut gelato stain from my white Lululemon T-shirt, but the stain is still visible. I did not pre treat, and I washed it in hot water. So I washed it again, this time pre-treating overnight (12 hour soak) with Oxy Clean White Revive and Tide Ultra Oxy White detergent. It made a slight difference. I also washed it in cold water. I am now on my second pre treat and third wash. I am using hot water this time, and if the stain does not completely go, I will use bleach.

I am a lifelong customer of the Tide powder, original scent, detergent. I learned it from my mother, two generations spanning over 75 years! Yes, I have dabbled with liquids, other brands, etc...to compare but always came back to the original Tide powder formula without the add-ins such as softeners and bleaches. But my latest purchase of this Tide Ultra Oxi product shocked me! After only 1 use, I immediately saw and felt the abuse the clothes had taken. Brand new items looked old, like they had been washed 100 times and beaten with rocks. Cotten fabric looked faded and felt rough as a cobb! I immediately searched online for an alternative and I hope that the original formula I found, is not in the process of being discontinued. Why is the original formula not available in the big box stores anymore and hard to find? I value my clothing and I cannot not let an improvised detergent subtract from the normal lifespan of a garment. Not happy, Tide.
