Needed a hurricane/storm phone because we live in an area of frequent power outages. Haven't had a storm yet but this seems like it'll do what we need. I bought this for my elderly mother. Works well under normal conditions. It is much better than her previous phones for listening quality, which is excellent. She sounds clear on my end also. She likes the style and size.

This phone is trim and lightweight. I only need to use it if my power goes out. It works well and doesn't take up much space so I am very happy with this purchase.

I like the phone a lot. The product arrived way before expected. Exactly what I wanted. It is light weight, sounds great , also I like the streamlined look. Perfect for the price.

The inexpensive price is right for a phone in case of power outage, but the ring is terrifying loud, so I keep it unconnected, ready to plug in should I need it to replace my regular landline if the electricity is off. No frills, can't turn the ringer down.

theres apparently no way to turn off ringer. the ring tones are wonderful but to avoid ringing you have to take the receier off the hook. works but its a surprise

Ya get what you pay for! It is cheap. It looks cheap, if feels cheap and the quality is CHEAP. It is hard to hear on it, with a lot of static.

A corded phone is supposed to work when the power is off. This one does not. Thankfully we had another larger bulker one and were able to use while our power was off due to storms. We bought this one to replace the bigger one.

I tried to return it because it was not able to take a new handset cord but they told me to keep it and give it to somebody as a gift. As I quote, Dear customer, Thank you for your reply. Never thought to make sure you could control the VOLUME of the ringer. You can NOT control this - so unless you want it to SCRETCH loudly - check out another phone. We will be returning this today.
