OMG there is such a taste difference between canned tuna and tuna in a glass jar. 😋😋Once you try this tuna in good conscience you can never go back to the canned version. Yes it is more expensive but for me the price outweighs how fantastic 😻😻 it tastes. I only eat very little chicken but get my protein from tuna especially this brand and beans and plants. So I will spend more when I find something I really enjoy. I make a Italian tuna pasta salad using pasta( de ceccio imported cavatappi) this tuna in olive oil, mounjaris Italian olive salad ( chopped olives, carrots, celery, cauliflower Italian spices in a jar) and throw in some Italian spices. I live alone so I make a huge amount and eat this for days. So full of flavor and protein. Every product I mentioned is available on walmart.com. I only buy from Walmart on line and have found many great food items. I like to experiment with new products and flavors. This recipe is so delicious 😋😋 ( You can also add wine vinegar or fresh lemon juice).
High quality yellowfin tuna fillets in olive oil and oregano. Delicious with or without finely chopped onions and cappers with fresh baked French bread. Also delicious in salads or even on its own.
So delicious! Tastes like a truly luxury, gourmet treat! Such a next level up from any canned tuna, that you almost can't compare it to the lesser, more common options.
listen, I haven't eaten it yet but it's shelf stable and that's what I'm looking for. I can see it and keep up with the quality of the contents.
The Bes tasting tuna in a Jar... not in a can!
I love the premium quality this product offers. it's jarred to keep its flavor and freshness.
Very tasty. I wasn't sure what to expect because I've never had tuna filets. Never had tuna from a glass jar. Delicious. A little pricey, so they won't be a regular purchase, but I would definitely buy again when I'm feeling fancy. I made pasta, olive oil and topped it with this. Added a side of roasted veggies, but these would have been fine with crackers, toast points or as part of a Niçoise salad.
The product itself is great! That's why I ordered. It presented itself as a great deal. The problem is that Walmart is selling it in a 2 and 3 pack, however, you only get 1 item for the price listed. I reached out via chat and was told I would get a refund and should reorder to even out the amount I should have received. A bit later I got an email that said I couldn't be refunded. Walmart...update your website description. Wish I had seen that 2 other folks complained about this setup before I ordered. DO BETTER WALMART.
Recommend this product but be aware that it is listed as a two pack and the seven dollar price is only for one jar . Still cheaper than many other places, but it is misleading.
I hate the taste of oregano do not want or light This needs to be picked up and replaced with the one I ordered
