[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I World undoubtedly continue to recommend this product. Its durability is unmatched- un like any other-and its efficiency is excellent; furthermore, when we tested it it produced absolutely no noise
Mobil ! user for decades. With an aging family car fleet, I've been using this that last several oil changes. I have noticed the blow by out the cap is barely puffing. Got to admit, it is cleaning those rings great! Will continue to use Val R%26P from now on.
it's not heavy. The dipstick is a little cleaner. I haven't used this oil for hundreds of thousands of miles or seen much before and after test results so I can't say if it is actually cutting cleaning out sludge in my sludge motor.... my Ford has 258k miles and still rolling.
I used Restore and Protect 0W20 on my Chrysler Pacifica. First thing I notice was how quiet it was. Second thing I notice was the improved fuel efficiency. I was getting over 30mpg on some highway driving, something I have never seen before. I will continue to use it.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have an older vehicle that is 15 years old and has 151500 miles on it. I use this Valvoline Restore & Protect Full Synthetic Motor Oil 5W-20 5 quart size for my oil change. It is an investment that has kept my car running well. My car also does not burn oil like some. I like to keep this on hand in case I need to add oil in between Valvoline oil changes. I prefer Synthetic over regular oil as it lasts longer between oil changes and the added cost is worth it.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This product is an amazing price for the quantity you get. It’s easy to open and use. I kept it in my trunk knowing my car burns extra oil so I was able to stay on top of my oil on the go. It helped keep my vehicle in great running order and perfect compatibility with all 4 vehicles within my household.
I have a 2010 ford focus 2.0 with 234,000 Miles on it and I always am religious on my oil changes well I noticed a slight lifter tick during cold startup here and there around 200,000 miles, well this oil has 100% solved this issue, and now I use it every 4000 miles and am very pleased with this product. Only advice is if you switch to this oil, change it around 2500 miles,I know it sounds silly but 1st time switching to this oil causes excessive cleaning and can gum up your oil filter. Regardless i am really amazed with this oil and its cleaning properties.
My 2009 accord is using less oil since I have ran this for a couple oil changes. Not down to zero use but was using a quart every 2000 miles now down to less than 1/2 for same interval. I don’t think this is a high mileage oil so I’m betting if I go back to high mileage oil my usage will drop again. I think oil changes were extended on this car before I bought it. Folks, these 10,000 mile oil changes are bad for vehicles. Maybe in the short term they work but they will cause issues if you want to keep a car.
Really like this oil. Have a 2013 jeep wrangler jk sport unlimited with 3.6 L engine . The oil cured the lifter noise and no smoking . When I change the oil , I can see some of the residue sludge in the old oil . Seems to run better and cooler. ,This stays in my shop now .
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I recently switched to Valvoline Restore & Protect Full Synthetic Motor Oil and so far I’m impressed with the quality. I can’t say for certain how well it will perform long term until I get through this oil change cycle, but the initial results are promising. The oil pours clean, and I like the fact that Valvoline designed it specifically to help clean existing deposits while preventing new ones. It gives me some peace of mind knowing the engine is getting protection against wear while also being restored internally. Overall, I’m satisfied with the switch and look forward to seeing the results at the next oil change.
