Very sturdy works well with lawn that has been watered well before hand, or after a good rain

This is good tool for the people what to exercise and make the grass look good. However, it is very tricky: grass too wet, dirt plug solid on the holes; grass too dry, hard to push into the holes.... I had constently unblock the holes. However, once you hit the perfect area (not too dry/wet), it works like well.

Vaneese lawn aerator worked great for the first day while it was raining following day continued to get plugged up in clay and also bent one steak trying to get the mud out of it

It is easy to use and take no time to assemble. However, the soil may get stuck at the holes easily.

It works okay. You definitely want to do it after it rains but not when the ground is soaked. Cheaper than hiring someone and will definitely save a lot of money in the long run.

Okay product; you get what you pay for

Works well if you are just wanting to punch holes into clay laden soil. Would probably be real in Sandy soil. Will stop upon clay soil and not produce plugs. Very well made and sturdy..

When I tried using it, the mud kept getting stuck and made it difficult to use.

it just packs in on this tool and it doesn't release unless you dig it out

I'm not sure if I'd recommend this. It clogs very easily and is quite difficult to unclog. It seems like it should work in theory, but in practice not so much. It's a good starter tool though if you clean it after every hole.
