The Aqua Broom XL Ultra is easy to use & effective for an above ground pool. If you walk around the inside perimeter & get the water flowing, all the dirt will collect in the middle--just vacuum there. This saves time!
This is a lite weight pool vac that is very easy to use. Had no problems putting the filter bags in the unit or using it. the only problem I have is with how this unit was packaged , a box in a much bigger box with NO packing material inside to stop this vac from bouncing everywhere and the outside box was beat to death. all in all I was surprised that the vac was in good condition.
This product keeps my above ground pool sparkly clean. Easy to put together and use. Easy to clean. Would buy again.
we had the smaller one but the bag was so small that held all the debris from pool. This one we can vacuum whole pool then empty plus I can stand on the outside and go around the pool as well if needed.
Please inform me o f how I can return or exchange my purchase. This was my 3rd aqua broom. The 1st one worked great %26 lasted for a season %26 loved it, the 2nd one lasted a few months %26 had to trash it %26 this one I got 15 min out of it. I have tried 3 different brands of batteries in it %26 it will not work.
I've been using the Pool Blaster Aqua Broom XL Ultra for a couple of weeks on a 12 ft. diameter 30 in. deep above ground pool and it works fine. I take it apart to clean and dry out, including battery removal like they recommend, after each use. Others have complained about the unit frying after water got in the battery compartment, but I have no issues with that. A little trick to help keep the water tight seal for the battery compartment is to add petroleum jelly or Vaseline all around the rubber O-rings. And remove the batteries each time. A little simple maintenance goes a long way. I definitely recommend using the ultra fine filter bags included along with the standard bag as well.
With a 300 $ above ground pool, we didn't want to spend a lot of money on a vacuum and really the filter couldn't handle one being attached to it. We used one that attaches to a garden hose to create suction but that adds unwanted cold water to the pool. This does the job although bag and opening could be a little bigger to get more leaves and debris.
It has worked good so far. I have a 15x48 above ground pool . It picks up the trash really good for such a small item. I like because it runs off batteries no cord, so kids can do it.
I bought this for my above ground pool. The instructions are not clear on turning on and off. It is very difficult to turn on and once it's on its hard to turn off. While the vacuum picks up some stuff off the floor, it does not pick up enough. It takes forever to use. I am not impressed.
Not to bad of a vacuuming but for the price I thought it would be rechargeable, I'll go broke buying D batteries for this thing not worth all the money
