i used these for the first time. It lessened the severity of a bad cold with sore throat and prevented it from evolving into a bad sinus infection. Was very pkeasenty surprised that it worked, however had to take every 2 hours for 4 days, was worth it.

I've read that there's no proof that zinc helps with illness prevention etc. This product seems to prove that statement wrong. I've taken it when exposed to people with a cold. I've taken it when feeling a cold coming on or knowing I've contracted one from someone. Every time it either goes away or is short lived. Placebo? Maybe. Real miracle drug? Not sure. Either way I will keep it in my cabinet and reach for every time I'm at risk for oncoming sickness.

VI find that when I am in close quarters and around a lot of people traveling Zicam that I do not get sick. Also when I feel a sore throat, stuffy nose or weak feeling, this product absolutely helps. I recommend carrying them in your car as well at home.

When I start taking this at the first sign of a cold (post-nasal drip, sneezing, sore throat), it definitely goes to work to shorten the duration of the cold and severity of the symptoms. Without it, I could have a stuffed up nose, congestion, coughing for up to 3 weeks. Last cold I got was all done in 10 days. I swear by this stuff and won't go without it during cold season.

I have ZiCam rapidmelts on hand Always! If I feel as though I'm going to be sick with a cold or worse, I'm immediately grab ZiCam. It makes me feel better OR get better by the next morning. I like the idea of simply adding vitamin C and zinc to my diet with an occasional ZiCam melt, even though I'm healthy without the worry of an illness or exposure to germs from others! If I start taking it at the first sign of a cold I usually don't get sick. but if I do, it's not as bad as it would have been if I didn't take it. However, although it doesn't taste terrible, it messes up your taste for anything you eat after using one.
