Turns everyday baking even better tasting (or should I say 'butter' tasting?) I love using it in pancakes, PB fudge, cookies, and in crepes. I seen it on sale on walmart.com in a 2 pack and grabbed it during the Covid 19 quarantine to do some at home baking (gaining a lot of weight over here ) so buy it if you want your baking to taste OUT OF THIS WORLD!
We are butter lovers for sure! Having this in our pantry to add an additional touch to our pancakes and also to our packaged brownies and cakes and cornbread was critical in getting more flavor! We have been looking for even more ways to use it on a daily basis, and I've even been adding some to our eggs before we scramble them! More butter does not equal more problems, it's the opposite!
McCormick butter extract is a great way to add buttery richness to baked goods, frosting, and even popcorn without using real butter. The flavor is smooth and authentic, not artificial or overpowering. A little goes a long way, making it a handy pastry state fault for lighting up recipes while still keeping that classic butter taste.
I really liked using the McCormack butter extract. I have used another butter extract in the past with a particular frosting that I make and I tried it with this product. It turned out great with a subtle, not overpowering butter flavor. I would certainly recommend this product.
Butter, like bacon, goes best with everything butter. Years past butter tasted butterly and todays butter has little flavor so I buy this butter extract to up that flavor in my cooking, baking etc.
I love this extract!! My cakes tastes buttery and I also used it to make my own butter flavored pancake syrup and will be making it that way until the end of time. Try it in your pound cakes for added richness of flavor
That unique scent and flavor that you find in yellow cake mixes? This! It helps to round out your baked goods. A fantastic little secret!
[I received this product in exchange for my honest review.] I did not know it was possible to add a butter taste to my baking without all the extra calories and fat from butter. I used these in my brownies and they were amazing! Would highly recommend keeping this butter extract on hand for when you need an extra hit of butter in your recipe.
This is a great product my only question is the long term use of the item. I tried a couple recipes including pancakes and waffles there was a noticeable buttery flavor and fluffiness, which was pleasant. The only thing I found asking myself is it worth the space in my pantry for the infrequency that it will be used. If you have small pantry space I can see where it might not be worth the space.
I recently tried this product out, and have used it with several different recipes, and I can honestly say I love this product, and would definitely recommend it! It enhanced each recipe I used this in, with a great butter taste, it's super easy to use, and a little goes a long way depending on what your recipe calls for! I also love and appreciate the fact that it's NON GMO, gluten free, and made with NO corn syrup! I will be purchasing again!
