(6 pack) Great Value Fast Rising Instant Yeast, 0.25 oz, 3 Count

Just started baking yeast products. Some recipes call for active dry yeast others call for fast rising yeast. Be sure to get the right one for your recipe. I have made dinner rolls with the fast rising yeast. They came out great! Can't keep them on hand. They go very quickly. Yum!!!

Use on a daily basis and haven't had any issues other than my bread and pizza crust both still tasting as though I was the one who baked them. Who needs recipes! Baking is an art, not a science.

I am new to bread baking. I found a beginner recipe for rustic bread. This yeast is so simple to use. Just throw it in with other ingredients. Make sure your water temp is correct and watch your dough rise.

Does not rise like other yeasts. This yeast was not expired, and had a long time until expiration. My rolls did not double in size nor did the yeast foam/activate much when put into warm water with sugar. I will not buy this yeast again. I'm thankful it didn't cost much because I'm not losing money on it. I'll stick with Red Star or Fleischmann's. They work as advertised.

Bread didn't rise. I couldn't understand what I was doing wrong but I realized that this yeast just isn't very good. I gave it 2 stars because it rose a little bit. The date was good on this package but I bought more with my last order from Walmart and they sent me outdated yeast.

I usually use Red Star or Fleishmans yeast but it was not available so I ordered Great Value. I could tell almost from the start it was not working well. I have made bread for many years so I know how yeast works! This time it didn't! I made cinnamon rolls, they didn't rise %26 were more like hockey pucks. Lot of work with no rewards! Bummer!!

I GOT THIS IN NOVEMBER 3rd and after tried 3 times I decided to see why it never worked and isBECAUSE IS EXPIRED! Walmart sells expired products !! Yeast should last 2 years and the expiration date is December 3rd! Less than a month from purchased! I DO NOT RECOMMEND! I would like my money back now!

I have purchased this twice and of the 6 packs, only 1 has ever even remotely worked. This yeast is completely ineffective. No rise and wasted food. I don't recommend.

I've purchased maybe 12 of these in the past few weeks—-I'm cooking 3 %26 4 of our crusty bread loaves and so far none that I've used are fast rising. Idk if your good by :dates are incorrect or youre just selling ineffective yeast.

I bought two, 3-packet yeast. Neither one worked, the yeast was dead,ruined 3 loaves of bread. I am an experienced baker and after the first batch didn't rise, I tried again, used a thermometer for the warm water, let it sit longer, folded it over a few more times and let it rise, the photo below is after 5 hours. Nothing worked, will ask for a refund for both.
