WOW, my seasoning was suppose to arrive on January 3, 2024, but it came this evening. I use "Tony's Chachere's" season when I cook almost every thing for many, many year's, and as of today I still do. I ordered "Tony's" season online with the rest of my grocery items to cook this Saturday going into 2024, but sadly my feelings was hurt because the seasoning was "Out of Stock." :(:( OMG I NEED THAT SEASON FOR MY NEW YEARS DINNER,!!!. Thankfully today I got a notification that the driver was on the way to bring it just in time as I was half way through my cooking process. Walmart save my New Year's dinner, CHEERS! Thanks Walmart, and shout to the one in Harker Heights, Texas for a job well done!!! HAPPY NEW YEARS!
Really good seasoning
I've been using Tony Chachere's on chicken, seafood, potatoes, and vegetables, and it adds really good flavor without needing a bunch of other seasonings. It has a nice little kick but isn't overly spicy. My only complaint is that it's pretty high in sodium, so I try not to overdo it. Other than that, it's a great seasoning and one I keep reaching for when I cook.
I used this seasoning on my protein instead of seasoning salt. Now I must say when I use it , it actually makes me cough when using it. It like the seasoning Entergy my nose when inhaling. But other than that good choice for protein.
When your seasoning is this good, there ain't nuthin' to more to say, but just enjoy it. Ive used this product for years without ever having a disappointment. It's just that dang good.
I love this on slices of roast Pork tenderloin and also on soups. But fill a common salt shaker with it to dispense it on your food. the big cylinder it comes in has big holes that will let too much come out onto your food. This is a good size for the money. But I really needs a salt shaker to control getting the. perfect amount for your food. you can get quite a few levels if spiciness. But I prefer Original. Great spice! Great Price!😋
I was born and raised in the south and grew up using Tony's. This isn't just "creole or cajun" seasoning. You can put this stuff in anything and it just gives an extra "umph" of flavor. I use it in everything I cook! Soups, chicken and dumplings, seasoning all meats, etc. I really just like the flavor. When I use Tony's I don't need to add the garlic powder, onion powder, pepper, etc. Just try it in whatever you're cooking. You'll taste that this really does provide great seasoning and taste to whatever you are cooking no matter if you like creole/cajun food or not.
In the Summer I live for vine ripe tomatoes on homemade bread with thin slices of red onion or simply sliced with salt. Can't get enough and when I tried this seasoning I replaced the salt and took my tomatoes to the next level. This stuff is amazing and addicting.
It is quite spicy, perfect Cajun flavor! I love the flavor, but I do wish it came in a low salt/no salt version. Be aware that if using this to spice a dish, you should cut down (or out altogether) the salt in the recipe. I like it on popcorn, but only homemade, as it adds too much salt to the microwave types.
