Bear Creek Country Kitchens Vegetable Beef Soup Mix, 8 Serving, 9 oz Pouch

8/9 cups of hot water 1 bag of vegetable beef mix 1 can corn .. don't have to drain 2 cans diced tomato's 1 to 2 pounds hamburger meat ( browned ) Mixed all together in a pot / covered ( stir often ) I put it on medium/medium high for about 10 minutes , then turned down to low / simmer for about 20/30 minutes ( depending on your stove ) Turned out so very good ( the longer I let simmer , the better it tasted ) I will be buying a bunch of these ... yummy and simple

The best soup base I have found, I use this as a starter adding petite chopped tomatoes and beef stock, then adding additional vegetables (black bean, green and yellow beans, northern bean, potatoes, carrots, lima beans, yellow waxed beans, kidney beans, and cubed pieces of beef). Make a hugh pot to enable me to freeze some for later.

Simple and easy to fix. Makes a great meal paired with grilled cheese sandwiches or croissants stuffed with beef and cheese.

This makes the best hamburger soup. Taste just like what my daughter made for me when I had a cold. Of course you have to add your own drained hamburger. I bought several to have on hand it is delicious.

This is a quick and easy way to make vegetable soup. I like to add some black beans, and ground turkey or beef to make this a full-bodied, hearty soup for the family.

As suggested on the label, my wife added a cubed-up steak to the mix before simmering. It clearly added a mouthful of goodness to the soup. At the same time, the mix had loads of veggies, and pasta. It was a very satisfying and filling meal, for little cost, and will be a favorite dish for our upcoming "Soup Sundays" during the Seahawks football season.

Just tried this yesterday. I love the bear creek soups as most others put in cardboard carrots and other freeze dried items that never seem to rebound like theirs does. But I will just say one thing, please make a low sodium option. I have swelling issues and I have to be very careful how much I consume. I am an avid ingredient reader! Other than that, excellent quality and flavorful blends for sure

Cook in a crock pot only, no way can this be cooked per directions. Add several peeled whole potatoes to adsorb excess salt

I have eaten various offerings by the soup maker over the years, and been satisfied with the taste, contents, etc. I began paying attention to sodium a few weeks ago, at least more than ever before, and I find the sodium so high in this offering that I can no longer buy the product. Prepackaged soups, traditionally, have high sodium, but these guys are taking it to a new level. Almost 800 mg per serving, with a bag containing eight purported servings of one quarter cup each!
