This is the best canned Alfredo sauce I have used. I have made fresh Alfredo and when you buy all the ingredients it costs quite a bit. I do add a little Parmesan and a little extra basil to this. If you are feeding a big crowd you can add some half and half to thin the mixture.
This is an absolute yes from me. I love it on the Betterfoods Lemon ricotta ravioli. It's affordable and delicious. I highly doubt you will be disappointed if you want to try it. It's not super thick, but it's not thin or watery either.I just love this stuff on a lemon ravioli. Yes. I totally decided to mix the two. It was my idea, and everyone loved the pairing. You're welcome, mwah!
This sauce is great in different pasta dishes but the one I like the most is with mushrooms, spinach, cheese, garlic, onions with any pasta and you can add meat if you like. great buy but please don't go up on the price.
Going to try the Carbone which cost three times the money just to see if I can tell the difference - Covid killed my taste and smell. Bertolli is my favorite though
I think this my favorite Alfredo sauce ever for home use. You can add mushrooms and chicken to make the dinner even better. Fast and easy and I love the basil flavor.
Absolutely delicious. Very creamy and great basil flavor. A little pricey, but definitely worth it. As with most cream based foods, take care to heat it slowly over low heat.
yes I have tried so many different Alfredo sauces I am Italian so I love Italian food and when I want Italian food and I want the sauce already made for me I have to go with this one every time
Great product I use it in almost everything. It blends well with so many different foods.. just seems like the price is getting a little too high.
I purchased the yellow lid non-transparent box but found I couldn't find things. With this box I see what is inside.
YUCK! This stuff was awful. It doesn't have any cheese flavor at all, the basil flavor is barely noticeable but you know what is noticeable? NUTMEG AND ANISE! Holy Cow they really douse this sauce with a ton of nutmeg and anise. I like nutmeg, I put it in my coffee all the time I also like anise but these are really strong flavors and need to be used sparingly. Good Grief these flavors were so strong I couldn't taste anything else. A pinch of nutmeg in an Alfredo sauce can be wonderful but it has to be subtle and in the background making you wonder what that extra flavor is. Anise? Great spice but it does not belong in an Alfredo sauce it belongs in a strong tomato sauce with sausages onions and peppers. There is nothing subtle about anise and they put so much in this in this sauce it's all I could taste the rest of the day. That flavor just hung out in my mouth all day even after I brushed my teeth. This is not your grandmother's Alfredo sauce. Never again Bertolli Never again.
