works great, made toast as soon as I got it ..there are lots of bad reviews saying that it only heats on one side, there is a bagel button on the toaster so it only toasts on one side, I wonder if they were accidentally using the bagel button?

Not black stainless
Very disappointed. I thought this would match the Black and Decker kettle but it doesn't. It's plastic black in stead of black stainless.

TOASTER MALFUNCTION
The toaster only toasts bread on one side. I only used it twice or three times. I think the wiring that heats the inside heaters became disconnected. I'm not very pleased.

Design fail
The ‘bagel’ is stuck so my toast now has to be flipped and retoasted to get both sides. No indication on the darkness dial to tell you how dark your toast will be (on the one of the slice that’s toasted, that is...you know how dark the other side will be because it doesn’t toast at all, since the ‘bagel’ button is permanantly ON). The little rubber feet pop off at the merest movement and eventually go missing, leaving you with a wobbly toaster. The cord is meant to wrap around the feet for tidy storage, but this is also badly designed. It’s a f’ing TOASTER, B
