Amazingly quiet

Anonymous November 3, 2025

We have many Cuisinart appliances in our house. I had an old GE food processor. I think it must've been 30 years old and it finally quit me. So I ordered the Cuisinart. It is really nice so quiet compared to my old GE. Very efficient and easy to clean up.

Works for me!!!

Galleywench October 26, 2025

I always had cuisineart food processors but when I broke mine (totally my own fault) I thought I would try another make - 3 food processor later none of which lasted very long and were equal in cost to Cuisineart I am now back with this trusted supplier. I have only used my new food processor twice but it worked perfectly on both occassion I am so relieved to have a cuisine art food processor back in my kitchen - lets hope this one is as robust as previous models.

Light weight and easy to use

Katsue July 21, 2025

My old Cuisinart of 40 years broke...I bought this new one. Love it because it is smaller and a lot lighter than my old one and the larger new ones. Works well. Easy to store. Just be careful with sharp blades but this isn't new. Have used several times and really like it.

Great features

MrsA May 29, 2018

I purchased this product about a month ago, after moving to another state. I own the 12 cup model and loved it, but didn't realize until I purchased this unit how many features I had not been using. I was so accustomed to using a mandolin, that I never thought to use the slicing disc's included with this product. However, I am using the slicing disc's more and more To slice & shred all types of vegetable. The result is perfect size vegetables and a great timesaver. I can't believe it took me all this time to utilize those desks. I absolutely love this machine.

brief review of Cuisinart 1.9L Easy Prep Pro

Debbie M December 26, 2025

Beautifully light to lift and move, the Cuisinart has proved very capable and a good deal lighter than my previous Magimix. I've only used it a couple of times so far, but so far so good. Admittedly there was one slightly off experience - but that was down to me and using frozen not room temperature butter. I was mixing a cake mix and working with the butter to make it light and fluffy: frozen butter cut into smallish blocks. It was probably the hardness of the butter that caused the machine to jump about; when everything was more at room temperature, the cuisinart stayed stable. One thing which is disappointing is the rubber band on the mini bowl - once removed for washing I found it doesn't remain in place quite as consistently as when first used.

Food processed review

Skp1 February 26, 2026

Over all really happy considering the price and unlike that there is a big and small bowl. This was my main reasoning for purchasing rather than having two processors. Also love the chopping function. Some things are not quite as smooth as I would like when blending but I need to play around and try a few more things, it may be there wasn't enough water in the mix. But iver all really happy.

Cuisinart 1.9l easy prep pro

S Branch December 11, 2025

The base is very light weight so when making even pastry the processor moves on the work top. So you have to hold it down. Looks nice on the work top

Maybe I just don't get it.

Grandpa77 February 8, 2019

I purchased this product about a month ago, with the intent of using it for chopping vegetables, slicing tomatoes, and shredding potatoes. In order to chop vegetables, the manual states that for best results you should first cut them into one inch pieces. I did that but it still did not give very good results, I ended up with assorted sizes from big chunks to tiny pieces.Next I tried slicing tomatoes, but found that the feed tube was entirely too small, unless I cut the tomatoes down to size, then I ended up with a lot of wasted food and very small slices of tomatoes.I then moved on to shredding potatoes, and again the feed tube size came into play forcing me to cut the potatoes into fourths. The shredded potatoes came out marginally ok, but remember that I still had to use my knife and cutting board, so that just gave me more dishes to wash on top of washing all of the food processor parts. To sum things up, I am not satisfied with the results and will probably never use this food processor again. I will however continue to use my cutting board, box shredder/grater and sharp knife the old school way! Not to be entirely negative, I do have some advice for anyone considering purchasing this food processor. Find a family member, friend, or even a neighbor that has one and ask them to give you a demonstration or even let you borrow it so that you can decide for yourself. One man's trash may be your treasure! Just because this product didn't work out well for me, it may very well be just what you're looking for, if not, then you will have saved some money. Like I said in the beginning, maybe I just don't get it, it just seems like it's more work than it's worth to me.
