YES! YES! YES! Me, my daughter and my son are the biggest coffee drinkers in our family. I love the fact that you can make a pot that will accommodate all of us. Or we can do individual cups of the coffee ground or use pods! This is by far thee best coffee machine I have purchased over time. Only thing I was upset about was that they had another cheaper sale AFTER I bought it..smh But it was worth the price I paid for it. Very nice to the eye, nicely built and easy to operate. works perfectly. As long as you follow the instruction on keep up you will enjoy it.
I bought this coffee maker just over a year ago and gave it away when I moved away. While I was away for 5 months, I was forced to use a Keurig side by side. Now I'm back and bought this one again because I love it! I missed it when using the Keurig. So perfect for my personal use. The ability to make 1-4 cup pot is not available on the other brands. Not to mention easy to use and program. It's just perfect for me. I'm so glad I'm back with my first (coffee maker) love!! :)
I really wanted to love this machine, to have a combined unit that would serve me with my full pot of coffee daily, and my husband with his k-cup addiction. Unfortunately, this machine has enough issues that I can't keep using it or recommend it. The Good: - A two-in-one machine - A nice-looking coffee-maker - It comes with a single serve filter for using with your own ground coffee - It has room on the capsule side for a travel mug or taller glass for iced coffee - The touchscreen is very smooth and nice - I really love that about it - The removable drip-tray makes it easy to clean up spills and drips. - The carafe side works fine. It takes about 10 minutes to brew a whole pot of 10+ cups - It's programmable - your coffee can be ready when you wake up! The Bad: - This machine can't sit under a cabinet, as it requires filling from the top for every cup or pot. You would have to pull it out or have it sitting on an open counter - I ran plain water through the capsule side 4 times and still had a funky taste in the coffee - the instructions recommend twice - The carafe is a mess- water drips down the side and all over, unless you either pour very slowly, or hold the carafe high above the cup and hope it doesn't run down your arm - No water storage tank - you have to add water every time you want a cup of coffee - The coffee gets burned as it brews on the capsule side, the water is just too hot. That's the gross chemically taste you get sometimes with brewed coffee. This may be because I am in high altitude, but it's just not acceptable - Grounds in the cup with the capsule side - Really bad - the water boils up and out of the capsule side with any amount of water in it. We tried down to 8 ounces and it still boiled over. The first time it happened, I had blazing hot water all over the counter. That is dangerous, and throwing a towel over the machine every time you want a cup of coffee isn't a good solution No coffee samples or filters come in the box, so you will need to purchase cone-shaped filters, and k-cups if you want to use it. So, all-in-all, if the capsule side wasn't so problematic, this would be a good machine. It's just too wonky to work for me.
I thought this brand was good. The pot leaks while pouring unless poured very slowly. The coffee section is coned shape and only holds enough coffee for light coffee. And the k-cup side is a little dangerous as it has popped open while pumping very hot water into the cup. I got sprayed in the face the 1st time. After that I learned to stay back.
I like the dual option, but don't like you can't make a single cup while the pot is brewing. It is slow to start brewing on either side, but I bought it for the programmable feature so I can set it to brew and have it ready to take with me on the way out the door. So far, have had no issues and works good.
I've had this less than two months contacted farberware because the single serving side started exploding twice! First time hot coffee sprayed on my shirt and neck second time it went everywhere. Farberware said it was owned by Walmart I contacted them they are supposed to replace it. Be aware I cleaned it and did cool water rinses and it still did it. Be very careful make sure your not standing by the coffee cup during operation
I dislike this coffee maker immensely. The pot side is okay. I didn't realize when I ordered it that you have to put water in every time you want to use the k cup side. If you aren't very sure that the cup holder is snapped in place just right. It runs over and makes a mess.
Absolute junk. 1 day out of box the Metal faceplate starts coming off. the pot is a failure of design, it spills with even the slowest of pour if its anywhere more than half full. the pod for the single cups does a horrible job of keeping grounds out of your cup. Over all, its the worst $70 I've ever spent on coffee. I will never buy this brand again.
Don't buy this coffee pot fell apart in less then 3 months terrible product. Coffee spills everywhere and the front chrome piece kept popping out and cut me a couple of times
I just got this coffee pot and try to make a cup of coffee or a pot of coffee and when I put the water in the back where it belongs it all leaked out from a hole on the bottom of the coffee pot
