Great product from an excellent company but WHOA!! Be forewarned this is a HUGE package of bay leaves. The bag measures 18"x14"x4"thick. And the leaves are huge also! Luckily they're dated good until 2025 and I have room in my freezer for them. Because I don't think I'll ever need to buy bay leaves again. Lol

I am overwhelmed by the freshness and bounty of this product. I have more bay leaves than I will ever use, now. The price for me was phenomenal when compared to buying smaller amounts more often. Buy this and then give some out to your friends and family and you will STILL have more than you need.

Wowza! A pound of bay leaves is massive and I'd encourage you to purchase a 6 pack of half-gallon mason jars to go with this purchase, cause it took that many for me to store all of these. I LOVE bay leaves. They are the foundation of all spice. I put one (or more) in every savory thing I make. And I add one to each jar when I can food to give it a little more foundational flavor oomph! Opening this bag was simply delightful. These are fresh, fragrant, and large leaves. Even an avid cook will feel overwhelmed with the amount here, so don't forget, these also make great deterrents to pantry pests who are repelled by the smell. Put a few in every jar of grains, sugar, flour, pasta, beans, etc. and don't forget cupboards

A pound of bay leaf is a huge amount. Can be used for storing bulk foods that insects would infest, great in creole red beans!

when I opened to place in smaller bags for freezer. I also place them in garage, kitchen cabinets to keep critters at "bay" lol. In winter place a few leaves in a pot of water to boil for humidity/scent. very fresh
