Don't skimp on the off-brand waxy chocolate when baking. I used these in a chocolate cream pie for Thanksgiving and was given rave reviews. It does matter when using chocolate.

I use these chocolate chips in everything I bake, or anything that needs chocolate chips, or melted chocolate that doesn't need to get hard. You can tell the difference. I get raves about my chocolate chip cookies, but same recipe, changed to these chips, what a difference.

I have lived on the central coast of California for the past 40 years. Ghirardelli Chocolate has a main factory with Ghirardelli Square in San Francisco. I have many wonderful childhood and grown up memories from there. I have tried and used other brands of chocolate chips and unsweetened cocoa and chocolate too. The other brands are okay, but the flavors of those can be bitter and unimpressive compared to the Ghirardelli. I make Chocolate Ganasch and also Fudge for the holidays with the semisweet. The flavor is rich with a silky mouth feel, and an otherworldly level of flavor that permiates the senses of taste and smell.

These are high quality and absolutely delicious chocolate chips - I love to make chocolate chip cookies and other baked goodies. These are my go to favorites 100% - they also melt very well to use for frosting and as a chocolate to dip the cookies into - I like to have a few bags on hand just in case I need to make a quick dessert.

I prefer these to Nestle's chocolate morsels but I just like this kind of chocolate anyway. it is a very good product tastes great and cooks really well too

love the chocolate, hate the bag. we ordered 2 bags, on was split open the other was ok. We have complained before about how easily the bags rip once you get a tear started, the bag just splits open and contents start pouring out.

This is a great product – love the taste, but the price since last January 2025 (one year now) is up 62% - Inflation and tariffs are not helping us – this is what the best economy ever looks like? These price increases are going to break us all.
