Best bike for city cruising and budget friendly

Umar September 1, 2024

I love this bike. I ordered it and it arrived in less than 2 weeks. It was well packed and very easy to assemble. At first test, I turned it on and tried running it. It had a fast acceleration and the bike was nice, sturdy, and also pretty heavy. It works good for off roading, riding on the street, and pretty much everywhere. It goes at a constant speed of 22 mph. After riding it a lot, you kind if want to speed it up a bit, but believe me, you wont go any faster than 22 mph unless you hack the bike, making it leas reliable, or you actually pedal as hard as you can, getting you to a whopping 24 mph. Don’t worry, 22mph is fast enough. It has been around 3 months, and I have been using this bike every single day. I have put around 450 miles on it, and these are the small issues that I found: 1. The seat is a bit uncomfortable 2. To turn it on, sometimes I have to hold the battery power button and the screen power button together 3. The battery at full charge, riding with only throttle, after all the mileage I put on it, can go up to 20 miles before recharging is needed. With pedal assist is better. 4. The back tire popped a couple of times, needing me to repair the tube or replace it. It wasn't that hard with the proper tools, and any hike repair shop can fix it. Watch where you bike because this wheel has a knack for meeting up with big nails. 5. If you are off roading, I would highly recommend buying the model that had rear suspension. After riding over some nasty bumps, I am obligated to stand on the pedals because of how much it hurts to sit. Luckily, this company offers multiple different models, including one with rear suspension. 6. I bought the model with mudguards, and for off-roading and biking in rain, it was the best investment I made. Make sure you buy the model with mudguards. 7. Lastly, this bike is pretty fast, so accidents are inevitable. You will eventually crash, so use a helmet and proper gear. I have injured my thigh, ankle, leg, fingers, foot, back, and pretty much every part of my body in crashes except my head, thanks to my helmet. BTW, these were all minor quick healing injuries. Overall, this bike is fenomenal and the beat I have seen in its budget range. I would definitely recommend it. It has a throttle, bike assist, and also cruise mode which is pretty sick!

I like it! Good ride!

Joe November 28, 2023

It is a basic E-bike. The bike is definitely well designed and mature in design. It was fun to build and get going. I get at least 30 miles out of a charge but really have not drained it all the way. You can bypass the speed limit in Third speed, and the bike will go faster, up above 20mph. It’s pretty light weight and compact. I call it my jackrabbit bike. Jump on it a go! Overall this is a very good model.

Bang for Buck and Good Customer Support

Dave May 26, 2024

I ordered the "Gocio" e-bike and as many other reviewers have mentioned I ended up receiving a same spec ebike from a different brand. Not a problem as it matched the advertised pictures perfectly and was also specced the same with the battery, motor, etc. The bike itself works great, assembly didn't take too long and the battery lasts forever. I weigh around 260 and am 5 foot 9, the motor took me to about 16 mph which is honestly pretty impressive. It also shipped and delivered within expected times. The ebike came packaged nicely and everything was included except one item was missing, the seat post. I went and bought one as to not wait another week of shipping and sent them an email and got reimbursed for the missing item! Awesome customer service with fast replies. On sale for 500 I would say this is a superb bang for the buck deal. My first ebike ever and i dont think ill be upgrading anytime soon!

Motor and Battery not as powerful as advertised

Tyson June 14, 2023

The bike is easy enough to assemble, took me about 4 hours to get everything right. The brakes are set way too tight, easy enough to let a little brake line loose. The disc part of the brake was rubbing against the brake caliper pad and slowing me down, I had to look at some videos and play with it a bit. Most E bikes come with a speedometer/odometer, this one does not. Handle bar grips are very uncomfortable, I had to cut them off with a blade to get them off and replace them with something ergonomic. Gears and throttle work smoothly. The seat is terribly hard and painful to sit on, buy yourself a Cloud 9 seat. The kickstand is in a bad place, close to the pedals. And it had a sharp angle. I kept hitting the back of my shoe on it and it chewed up my shoe sole badly. In order to remove the stub the stand is attached to, I had to cut through it with a bolt cutter. that made room for a clip-on stand I bought and installed further back. So bad design, for a guy like me. Keep in mind, I wear a size 15 shoe, most Chinese people probably do not hit the kickstand. Still there's only 3 inches from the back of the pedal to the kickstand base when riding. So if you ride with toes on pedal like me, you will also most likely hit it. See the Photos at the bottom, the old kickstand was under the B on E-Bike, you can see the chrome where I cut the old kickstand off. My new kickstand is like 2 inches further back from the old one, and not as sharp edged. Now my biggest complaint, the battery and motor. They advertise "all day up to 6 hrs riding time", I barely made it to 2 hours and I was pedaling with it. I only made it 18 miles from full battery to dead battery, and this was on its 3rd full charge so it should've been good. Maybe they send us older batteries that have been in storage, or maybe they just aren't as powerful as they say. Maybe my weight comes into play, but I weigh 235 lbs and it is rated up to 330 lbs. The Motor. The motor is supposed to take me up 30 degree inclines, but it is a struggle to do so. I have to pedal hard , standing, and the bike slows down to a crawl. You can feel the motor churning and tapping out on me. Not what I expected... but I suppose me and the bike and my accessories add up to 300 pounds, perhaps that is asking a lot. This is my first E bike. Was this worth $650? Probably... that's not bad at all for an E-bike. It is well built, has a strong frame, made of good reliable parts. The tires are also very good quality, no leaks. For me, it was not as powerful or long lasting as it was described to me. But I still have fun decking out my bike and going on 1 and a half hour rides. I'm not a cross country rider anyways. But I really wish I'd spent the extra money on a 1000W motor instead. If you are a smaller person, like around or under 150 lbs, this bike will suit you well, but if you are over 200 lbs like me, you should probably spring for more power.

27.5 inch tires on a small framed bike

Thomas December 16, 2023

The bike is probably a good, fun ebike. Too early to tale, since just recd 2 weeks ago. It is built for smaller sized people (e.g., Chinese, etc.). I am 5 11 and the bike is not a full size 27.5 inch bike, rather it has 27.5 inch wheels on a smaller than usual framed bike, which fits 26 inch and probably even a 24 inch bike. The kickstand is sturdy but really annoying, I take a size 11 shoe and the back of my shoe hits the kickstand when pedaling, again the bike is designed for Chinese sized people. The bike will come with all tools for assembly, but since I had to change the handlebar and controls for a person of my size, it took several hours longer for assembly. The instructions and video are really limited and useless for full assembly and operation.

False Advertising 😞

Bizzy December 21, 2023

The frame is 17' and with the bike i got, the handlebar height could not be extended. I am 5'5", 128lbs, there is absolutely no way someone 6.4ft tall could ride this bike lol. So theyre lying in the picture. My knees kept hitting the handle bars because my legs are too long. Other than that, the bike is very well built. It is awesome it arrived pretty assembled, and even though i didnt get to ride it, when i made a mistake of twisting the throttle, it aas very possible. So if you are maybe 5'3" or shorter, you should be ok. I am so sad i was sold something that wasnt real for people my height :(

Awful customer service from Walmart

John May 7, 2024

Didn’t know it was going through a third-party. Did not receive the namebrand bike that I ordered. I’m still waiting on my protection plan that I paid for it was a three year payment plan that was supposed to be mailed in 24 to 48 hours. Bike arrived damaged. Front wheel warped/bent. Loerystore has been helpful. They sent me a new tire but did not send me a new wheel. They said that they are not on the “platform“ for my Walmart protection plan. I have emailed Walmart to receive this protection plan as promise and have yet to receive it has been going on over a month. I have a copy of my receipt with order number saying that my Walmart protection plan would be emailed within 2448 hours.
