In a side beside taste test, I cannot tell a difference from the top brands and the great value, so save some money and some hassle, (during the big baking seasons the name brands tend to run out) And I get it we tend to get conditioned to believe that we should only buy the name brand items. I have been purchasing these Great Value brand butterscotch morsels for years and I'm telling you they are as good as any name brand out there and less expensive! I mainly use these (chopped up in my mini chopper) in my coffee…YUMMY! Would highly recommend this brand!

These are too sweet for me but my husband loves to snack on them. I buy him baking chips because it's cheaper than candy bars, lol, but I also use these in brownies and cookies as well. There is definitely a quality difference between these and my beloved Ghirardelli chocolate but for genetic these are pretty great all around. I would recommend.
