Great Value Evaporated Milk, 12 fl oz US

My mom always kept some around %26 now I do for 2 reasons mainly. 1. I like it better (undiluted) in some foods - like oatmeal and Muesli. 2. When I am out of milk and don't want a lot of milk, I can dilute and substitute this in baking and cooking. I always keep a couple of cans around - just in case!

Great value evaporated milk. Great to have on hand in kitchen pantry. to use as coffee creamer and for recipes. Canned..shelf stable. always receive items that are not damaged. easy to mix. metal can. You can always transfer to a plastic container or cup. package perfect.. mixing. simple.

I got tired of buying milk just because I needed a quarter cup in something, then the rest turned sour since no one in the house eats cereal or uses milk in coffee. So we don't buy it. However, Sunday mashed potatoes or a creamed soup... ya' need milk! Keep one of these on the shelf and your all set. Use straight and you have heavy cream. Use 70/30 and you have light cream. Use 50/50 and there's your milk. Leftovers? It freezes perfectly in small portion cups.

The Great Value Evaporated Milk tastes exactly the same as Carnation brand! I've noticed lately that Carnation evaporated milk either seems to be out of stock at the grocery store or is really overpriced when you can find it. The Great Value evaporated milk is delicious- you really can't tell the difference! I would very highly recommend it to anyone.

I am old school and Midwestern. This is my go-to coffee creamer. I love the flavor that this product gives my coffee. it makes my coffee so smooth and creamy. You need to advertise it that way. The price point is excellent. Thank you for having a great product and price. It stands up to any name brand in my opinion.

I grew up in evaporated milk. I use it in my tea, oatmeal, coffee, whatever. It’s great if you need milk in a pinch but don’t have any. I always have a couple cans on hand. Just make sure you have a small container with a pour spout that you can pour it into once you open the can. Oh if you’re going to have cans of this milk, have a can opener that you can punch holes in the can with or you’ll run into some trouble.

Great Value Evaporated Milk tastes the same and blends and mixes the same way the higher dollar brands do but with an exceptional price which is much more affordable. I have used the Walmart brand for years now with no problems. I will continue to use this product because it is the best one for my family.

Nice, creamy consistency, mixes in easy, and works great in sauces, casseroles, and desserts. Basically, it's the behind-the-scenes hero of the pantry. It's also perfect for those moments when you realize you should've bought regular milk but didn't—just pop open the can and you're saved. Tastes just fine once it's in a recipe, and it's cheap enough that I don't feel like I'm being robbed by the dairy aisle. Overall, solid pantry backup. Not something I'd drink straight (I'm not a monster), but for cooking? Does the job every time.

I love the taste of this product by mixing it into my coffee makes my morning start out right ,i use it as a creamer though it has lots of other uses.Its nice that they packaged it in a can container unopen it doesn't have to be refrigerated so you can stock up with it in your pantry instead of the limited space in your fridge.I wanted to make a better choice then the powdered creamers so i choose Great Value evaporated milk after trying a few others

I keep this in my pantry as a staple item! Sometimes you may need a shelf stable milk based alternative to fresh milk. This is the solution for me! I add water to it to have milk in my cereal, oatmeal, etc. I don't need a half or full gallon, so this works for my needs, economical and handy!
