Great Value Pork Seasoned Coating Mix, 5 oz

This is my go-to coating mix when I want something flavorful without a Parmesan taste. I use it regularly on pork and chicken, and it works really well on both. I've even used it occasionally on beef (experimenting happens!), and it turned out surprisingly good. One thing I really like is the texture, it also works great as a topping for casseroles, adding a light crunch and boosting the overall texture. It's especially good sprinkled over broccoli and cheese dishes. Easy to use, versatile, and dependable - this is a staple I keep on hand.

1. less messy than fried no splatter to clean from stove top. I like the taste. I will sprinkle over the pork rather than packing it on. I like a light coating. Bake using the directions turning over once. I use a rack placed on a foil covered sheet pan. I will tape the unused mix closed to keep it fresh and put it back in the box.

Better than the name brand and they still include the shaking bag unlike the name brand. STRONGLY recommend the Walmart brand of shake and bake. You will be happily surprised.

I hadn't used this kind of product for years. Decided to give it one more try. Excellent! It's everything it advertises to be: crispy, tasty, easy to use, and economical. You gotta try this!

great for pork chops to season and it makes it most plus I like the bags in it to shake and bake the shake and bake product does not put bags in them they use to on national brand

Every bit as good as higher price products. I get boneless chops on sale and prepare several in the air fryer to have for reheating. On a bun with bbq sauce it's about like McRib.

this is indistinguishable from it's more famous counterpart, with the exception that it cost less money. I just made pork chops with Thai cucumber salad, and it made a very delicious meal. This is comfort food at its best!

We used this to make air fryer pork chops. Our chops were boneless and about an inch thick. The seasoning tastes just as good as the name brand. We would definitely get this again. I may even try this with chicken tenders.

if you buy shake and bake you need to try this this is a store brand yes but it is just as good as the other

This coating mix is the best buy in the category. It goes on well and produces a baked, not fried, product. All you have to figure out is the timing. When first using, consider the thickness of the chops and the crispness you want. For instance, I buy thin cut bone-in chops and bake them for 39 minutes. The coating adds perhaps 5 minutes to what it would otherwise take. This product is good; better was a product called Cracker Meal Mix, put out years back by Nabisco. It was the best coating mix ever; now if you can find it. Oh, being the best, it cost twice what this product costs.
