I’ve been buying the Great Value Vegetable Oil for years, and it never disappoints. It’s perfect for everyday cooking—whether I’m frying, baking, or sautéing. The oil has a neutral flavor that doesn’t overpower food, and it heats evenly. The 48 fl oz size is a great deal for the price and lasts a good while in my kitchen. The bottle is easy to pour and store. Overall, an affordable, reliable staple for any home cook.
It's just vegetable oil, not worth it to spend what name brands cost. I will say, they have managed to make the packaging SO THIN they practically need to put it in a cardboard over box like they do for restaurants. SO thin that if you are not real careful to NOT SQUEEZE all the air out when you are screwing the lid on, it will get so tight, like a vacuum in the bottle, it will be super hard to UNSCREW the lid.
I’ve had experiences with the food club brand of vegetable oil boiling over as if it’s cut with something and in one case got burnt. I trust the oil it’s best bang for your buck although I know it’s the worst possible thing to put in your body lol I use it to fry chicken in this economy
Leaving brass items covered over in oil for a day apparently cleans them quite a fair bit, but it doesn't remove everything, but brings a great shine to them. After doing so, of course, I always wash the oil off with dish soap and warm water. Items continue to keep a great renewed look.
Well it says this here oil is Heart Healthy and that's a relief because I thought fried foods were bad for your cholesterol. I make a lot of fried foods and even fry some things that most people just put in the oven, like chicken wings and tater tots. You can bake those things and they come out ok, but if you drop em in some hot oil to crisp em up, oh man are they better! Like you went out and got em from a drive-thru. And since this here oil is heart healthy, it's actually good for ya. Sound the trumpets! Healthy oil is finally here!
This is the best price on basic vegetable oil for cooking, frying and baking. The plastic container is durable and easy to move around with the handle. I keep this big container on hand for when I am making home fried chicken, since I don't make it often enough to reuse the oil.
I use olive oil where I can for the health benefits but, some things just aren't the same with olive oil. For those recipes I use this versatile vegetable oil. It is heart healthy and leaves no greasy aftertaste. I always buy the Great Value version of products when I can to save money without sacrificing quality.
I am very pleased with this vegetable oil. It has a clean neutral flavor and works perfectly for all of my cooking, frying, and baking needs. The 48 fl oz bottle lasts a reasonable amount of time and is much more affordable than the name brand alternatives. A quality staple that offers great value for the money.
It's the basic one would expect: Low resistance viscosity to coat lightly, yet enough to inhibit adhesion while sensory profile impact broadly remains minimal. Will easily track into duel threads of containment vessel; application of a dry absorbent arbor material post dispense may aid the inhibition of accumulation that could otherwise prevent free access after extended periods. Stuck. The cap gets stuck when ppl pour haphazardly and then sits untouched 😆 What does Walmart want? It's veg oil 🤷🏼♂️ They didn't ____ it up. You didn't ____ it up okay? "Are you not entertained?!!!" 🗡️🫲 🗣️🫱🏛️
HUGE CONTAINER for a wee little price! Fries right, pours right, simmers right... I can't complain. Thank you! PS (I'll post for ALL sellers): I don't buy for the terms(words) on the box/label/package/wrapper, so I have no clue what the words mean, nor what they'd bring to my life in excess of what's behind the words (in the package), and that I can see when I open the box/label/package/wrapper. So, like all things sent in a cellphone, I am adding a disclaimer: Other than what's inside the wrapping, I don't know what I'd be inviting to buy anything before it, or its seller/s could disturb me or others in ways that I, or they, can't bear. Please observe my (United States) constitutional rights as sellers and makers of stored things, since I'm not fond of having to plea cases for anyone, much less myself and my family.
