Hamilton Beach 1.1 Cu Ft Countertop Microwave Oven, Stainless Steel

This is a great microwave! I was upset that I had to get a new one because I liked my old one but turns out I like this one a lot better! I’m actually very pleased with it and surprised that it didn’t cost more. I like having a handle instead of having to push a button to open it. I also really like the 30 second feature as it heats much better than my last microwave and it works great for heating my coffee up when it gets a little too cool for my liking lol Love the extra buttons inside when you open the door(took a picture of them). Great quality and even better price!

Why would the manufacturer put a sticker on the front glass door of this microwave, that leaves a very sticky glue residue behind? I went to the store and purchased goof off to try to remove the glue residue. No luck. It's a decent microwave, but there's a sticky glue residue on the front door that seems almost impossible to get off without scratching it. Foolish.

the microwave itself is pretty good but I hate the child lock you can turn it off but next time you use it the lock is back on!?!?! I don't have any need of it. There are no children that are ever in my apartment there needs to be a way to totally eliminate it not just shut it off until the door is closed again extremely annoying

We bought the previous model and liked it. However, on the new one, the door locks and you have to cancel the settings before you open. Hate the extra step.

Product itself is fine IF you can read the tiny print. It's located INSIDE the door frame, is unlit, and so small I can't see it, even with my eyeglasses. Why do they put it INSIDE? Also, why so SMALL. Great product work wise - terrible putting items being cooked inside door.

I need to know who is the idiot who had the good idea of putting the sticker that can't be peeled right on the front door, and did that same idiot design the door lock system? Someone needs to be fired because I'm 30 seconds from returning this stupid thing! I only bought this one because I had the previous model, and it was excellent. Whoever made these changes needs to be fired immediately!

After a very short time. I noticed a smell coming from microwave when using. It was the smell of hot electronics. After a few min of using microwave, it would shut off. I cant undrrstand how things like this happen shortly after purchasing it. Quality is very bad for this to happen practically right out of the box, Now I have to go tjrough the pain of getting it sent back. Not happy at all with this microwave.

Unsure It is this specific one we have or all but ours makes this electrocuting sound as it sparks our food, examples of food so you know it’s not because “too long or too hot” hot dogs, green beans!!!! I’ve got video! It’s insane within 10 sec of being on it electrocuted it almost, then I toss away food cuz I fell like it’s going to give bad radiation or some crap to our kids or ourselves! The picture I’m showing is a screen shot of the video of green beans being heated up for not even 10 seconds!

Ordered online and picked up from curbside delivery. Got home saw that box was damaged and then realized microwave was damaged. Went back to Walmart and they would not exchange it. They stated I had to return it and reorder it. The microwave is now $10 more a day later. The associate at Walmart never should have put damaged box in vehicle

It didn’t heat/cook sufficiently, The preset cook times didn’t seem to work properly. I understand that it’s priced under $100- so I guess it meets the saying that you get what you pay for. I will look for higher power unit that is easier to work. This also locks doors at end of cycle - I don’t get that design. It should unlock when cooking/heating is done,
